I discovered this place along with @sumit.gore during monsoon of this season. Sumit somehow loves Chapora over humans so I have to blog this place anyways for him.
Before anything was planned @tinyhoomansadventure already covered it. So thanks to her for giving that push.
Coming back to business part of the blog. @oppasgoa is certainly one of the hidden gem in Anjuna which is yet to be discovered by many. Brian and his team works really hard to put their best foot forward, day in and out. Backed by Maria and her daughters.
HANDS DOWN THIS IS THE BEST PLACE TO EAT STEAKS IN NORTH GOA.

15 years this restaurant has completed and more than 100 years the structure it is build on. It's the fifth generation taking care of this place. Recipes are specially curated by Brian. He also runs a small food truck in Anjuna.
If you talk about the overall taste and pricing of the menu, I would say it's carefully planned. Anybody who wants any hidden gem recommendation to eat in North Goa, this place stands tall in that list.
Do visit Chapora Jetty if you visit this place, not for me but for Sumit.
See you all in...
Read moreAfter 2 weeks of Indian curries, we fancied something more western. We didn't have high expectations being in the middle of nowhere, but we stumbled upon this place and were so glad we did!
They have an extensive menu, serving beef (very unlikely in this part of India). All drinks and beers are reasonably priced. My husband and I ordered steak and chips, to my astonishment, two fillet steaks arrived on just my plate! Medium rare cooked to perfection and trasting amazing. Although it was 400INR per main meal, this is only 1/4 of what we pay in Australia and far better quality.
The ambience is hippie chic, with awesome retro gig posters from the 70s dotted about. Cool music and lights made this a lovely chilled place to eat. There was no rush and you felt welcome to stay all night if you wished.
We couldn't help but order the chocolate fondant for dessert, which they make fresh to order (we were by the kitchen watching the chef making the cake mix from scratch). These were the best fondants we've ever had, and at AUD$4, absolutely made our night!
Each meal prepared, is fresh - we watched the chefs making each mashed potato portion ordered, separately. The price was surprisingly reasonable, considering the quality. I would definitely go back again... Even if it's just...
Read moreWe had already sampled Brianâs awesome culinary skills at their Starco junction food court, so it was inevitable we make our way to their restaurant tucked away in a little lane in Chapora soon.... we were blown away, to say the least! Most other reviews mention steak, pork chops and their legendary dessert so how could we be different? Maria is an effortless host, friendly and paying attention to each table. So without further ado, we ordered the Beef Steak (n veggies), and the Roast Pork with mash (super option if you donât want to deal with the bones in pork chops). Cooked to perfection and full of flavour, this is one meat feast we relished after a long time. We mulled over whether to order another main or not, then went straight for dessert. Chocolate fondant and Strawberry Killer... while we tried to deconstruct the second dessert, Maria threw in the CrĂ©me Caramel as well! A great Valentines evening and a meal we will remember for a long...
