Over all 4.2 ⭐ One of the quintessential Goan cuisine restaurant , main restaurant in Panaji This one is in South Goa on the Margao - Mobor highway and is situated in the fancy Mall called Mercado on the first floor over watching the fields Ample of parking space and the interior is well designed The show stopper is the Goan seafood Thali It's so popular that they had to take it's off from the delivery apps (what a shame especially in the monsoon season when you could order it home delivered) We ordered a Goan thali A tomato basil soup Chicken dumplings Warm chicken mediterranean salad Mohito But all in all amazing food the standard and quality that is cooked is 5⭐ restaurant The service is upto par It's just the seating place looks like my work place dinning (mess area ) everyone is sitting and eating together there is no privacy 3⭐ Place is clean And we'll aircondition Tables have mats and an orchid flower vase The food is not that spicy but mild and the Goan Seafood Thali is worth its price and more 😊 Will definitely visit again and again for the food The manager incharge Anup and his team were great We gave a suggestion about the mutton sukha as the meat was hard and un chewable, He took the constructive advice and said that they would try their best next time All in all best place for a seafood Thali in South Goa Note please come before 1:00 pm if you want to get straight away seating.

Whenever I'm in a new city, the first thing I do is ask the locals where I can go eat some great local food. A lovely woman at the front desk of the hotel we were staying in, recommended Ritz Classic. I asked her if she ate there herself, and she said yeah, many times. So off my wife and me went, on a rented scooty. Ritz Classic was in a mall. And both of us are weary about restaurants in malls. We looked at each other thinking, how good can the food really be? We went in and the decor was very modern. Again, an indicator that the food was quite possibly not authentic goan, and more tempered down for tourists. We wanted to have the fish thali, but greed took over and we ordered the Ritz special platter, thinking we'll eat that for starters and then move to the thali. Well, bad luck, because what came was this HUGE platter fit for an army of kings. There was every possible fish you can imagine - fried, in sauce. It was insane. This would take time. And that's exactly what we did. Anup Madkaikar kept lubricating us with beer and we kept eating. If you're looking for authentic goan grub, do yourself a favour and go there.

The place is designed well, neat location. Ordered the sweet corn chicken soup, murg tikka, chicken hariyali, tangdi murg (or some such name, essentially chicken drumsticks) and chicken cordon bleu. Soup came served in a chipped bowl. 3 out of four dishes came done really well, the drumsticks were uncooked inside, raw. Brought this to the attention of the waiter and manager, dish was promptly taken away and took forever to make it back, at which I told the manager to pack it and make sure it had been done well (it was almost overdone to the point of charring, as I found out next day) I had told the manager if I found something wrong, it would come out in the review and so here it is. On the way out of the restaurant, as our party was leaving, two were walking in. The manager opened the door for them and just left it to close in our faces. 3 stars for the three good dishes. Whoever owns this place needs to check in once in a while.
