Nice family run shack that is a little quieter than some of the big ones. You get real personal service and are always welcome.

The beds are well maintained and towels are clean, they are free if you are eating and drinking.

Food is excellent with good breakfast selection followed by a wide range of salads, curries, rice and noodle dishes. The piri-piri is the best in either prawns or squid guise.

Drinks are cold and plentiful, this is the second time we've been here - hunting it out after nearly 3 years away due to the pandemic..

A quiet beachside dinner of Rawa fried King fish, batter fried calamari rings, lobster in butter garlic sauce , all of this was topped off with a Mackerel curry, in a freshly hand made, coconut based, Goan spice paste . This meal was the highlight of our December 2020 vacation!! The ambience at the shack was quiet and relaxed with the friendly chatter of Shack owner Pranesh. The children were thrilled to dine by the waves under the stars.

We will surely return to Candolim beach to savour these treats again.....soon... Well...
