Candolim Beach — Attraction in Goa

I have been to each and every beach in goa but trust me THIS IS THE CLEANEST BEACH I found. The water is also very clean and the sand texture is out of this world. ⚠️Things to Note :-

1. Don't just hopin to the very first shack(hotel and sun loungers) you see when you enter the beach area, keep moving to right or left along the beach, as you go further the things will get cheaper and you will get less crowded view while relaxing or taking pictures. The reason for the crowd at that place is because all the water activities are stationed there. (Sun loungers:- At the beach entry is 200rs for 1 hour. A little bit far you will get 200rs for 2hr or 3hr) You can always negotiate for the price. Also be aware of your belongings while you relax, people do rob things there.

2. If you are looking for water activities then you can go for it but clarify VERY CLEARLY with the person sitting in the cabin regarding the prices before going in because there are HIDDEN CHARGES.

Example from real experience:- a) Parasailing:- You will pay 1500rs/ person for parasailing promising 15 to 30 sec with good height but later when they take you on the boat they will say what you paid for is normal parasailing which is just hardly for 10 to 15 sec into the air with a very less height and if you want more then you will get a proper parasailing with good height for more time duration along with the dip(they will bounce you in water at the end) but for that you need to pay 300rs extra.

b)Dolphin sightseeing:- You will pay 3000rs for it promising you 4 sightseeing (lighthouse,central jail etc) apart from dolphins for 45 mins ride in total. #scam1 You will be given a life jacket and just when you are about to climb in the boat the scam starts saying you CAN'T WEAR FOOTWEAR inside the boat and you need to take one of those sun lounger spot which is 200rs per hour to keep your footwears until you comeback. Then after 10 mins of high-speed boat ride you will be taken to a still water spot near the mountain (the place is connected to the mainland of Goa and not an island) to see dolphins "YES YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SEE DOLPHINS ONLY IF YOU ARE LUCKY" but not like the view you see in movies where they jump and do dramatic stunts, they will be very far since the boat engine makes noise and they won't come near you.

#scam 2 unlocks here when the person riding the boat will offer you to free swim in the water but at the cost of 600rs to 800rs extra which he won't inform you first. Also he will ask you to go further to see a bungalow which is in some bollywood movie for an extra 1500rs(something he won't mention till you reach that spot).

#scam3 :- All the 4 sightseeing are not even 100 meters apart, in fact they all are on one mountain beside each other.

All the rides you see are hardly 30 to 40 seconds.

3. There are a number of elderly women who will force you for an oil massage(head,neck and leg, nothing offensive) along with free demo. Confirm the price first else you will end up paying 1500rs instead of 300rs just because you said okay to massage other body parts also as a courtesy. Once again it's nothing offensive, it's a genuine massage.

4. EAT OUTSIDE. If you are planning to have a budget friendly breakfast and lunch with good quality then i advise you to go to the outside area(main road) and eat. Many shack owners themselves advised me not to eat here.
