DANGEROUS DOG WARNING

After 14 years of spending my holidays relaxing at seacreek on ashwem beach it saddens me to move to another beach due to a dangerous dog that has bitten 4 people in the month we have been here . This includes a 10 year old local child who was playing football on the beach ( as they do every sunset) . It was horrific to see him being bitten twice on the leg needing 18 stitches and 3 hospital visits for numerous injections. I had a long conversation with the staff and owner and was advised it had bitten around a dozen people this season. I asked that something be done as I find this unacceptable and my wife's anxiety goes through the roof seeing the dogs attack people

Since then we have seen it attack and bite a fisherman, and two elderly Indian men all who required medical attention. Other times kids only escaped by jumping onto tourists beds

After 4 weeks We have now sadly given up with the owner who despite several promises this crazy dog is roaming in his restaurant and sunbeds .

We have taken our business for the remaining 5 weeks to another area and would like to warn others that if you seek peace you should avoid that...

Between Ashvem and Arambol is this lovely beachside village called Mandrem. Words can’t express how amazing it is - cut off from the crowds, clean beach and some great places to stay and eat. That’s where Sea Creek also features - it has an excellent location, right on the beach where you can enjoy breakfast or beer! They have a decent menu too - from continental, Chinese to Goan delicacies. I had their fish curry, prawn curry and they both were really tasty. The owner Patrick and his wife Lucy are very hospitable, friendly and caring people who will make your stay very comfortable. Unforgettable place of stay. Having a breakfast in the early morning while sitting in front of sea is an awesome experience. It is really an economical place to stay. Food was also awesome. The chef is always ready to customize as per our taste. The arvind e time and courtesy of staff is really remarkable. Safety and cleanliness is really high. I think in last few years, this is the first beach house where I felt to extend the stay just because of the service, food, comfort, economy and scenic view of location.
