DON'T. Just DON'T.||||You'll see Rococco's pictures on the internet, they'll be flowery and pretty. ||You'll read Rococco's reviews on the internet, all full of praises.||You'll book a room at Rococco, it'll be super expensive, and then you'll think "Maybe it's worth it". ||Well, IT'S NOT.||||We stayed at Rococco (A couple and a dog) at an exorbitant tariff of Rs. 6,800 a night. ||The troubles start from when you enter.||It's 'premium' only on paper (and price).||Unlike most 'premium' properties, you HAVE to pay for your entire stay, at the reception, before you check-in to your room. Weird, but okay.||We hauled our own luggage, because 'We didn't ask anyone to get it from the car'. Must've been my fault.||||The room was puny, with torn rugs, a torn blanket, poorly sewed up in the corner to hide the damage (wow, so premium, right?), had a small balcony which faces the sea (yay!)||||We had driven for 12 hours, so we decided to take a nap. In the Goa heat (and the 'premium' charge), ACs are basic. Well, we had an AC (no fan) in the room, but it doesn't work in the daytime because of 'load shedding issues'. While they do have a solution to that, a backup generator, it is switched on for 10-15 min, only when someone complains and then, back to square one.||||Although it is 'premium', you get only a low grade soap, non-branded shampoo and conditioner in the room.||||The dental kit, although from a 'premium' property is to be paid for.||||And body lotion, well, no.||||Now, the night time.||We came back from exploring around (we headed out because the AC wasn't working), we open the balcony and voila! There's a bunch of men sitting right under, playing loud music and eye balling women. ||When we contacted the staff, we were told that it's public space and nothing can be done till 11 PM. LOL||||The Premium Breakfast Buffet: It's the same food every single day. Bananas, Watermelon, Eggs, Poori, Chana, Bread, Butter and Omelette.||||They made (sad) pancakes that looked like 'cheelas', one day, but after one serving, they removed it. lol||||The Housekeeping was super lethargic, so much so, that they even forgot to dust the mats or even clean the used cutlery/crockery in the room. Maybe that's how it is done at 'PREMIUM' properties.||||We had food (apart from the buffet) only once at the property, I'd say it was nice. Wouldn't take it away from them. Hope they had the same team do the breakfast as well, would've given a break from the monotony, that is their breakfast.||||Our check-out involved a guy asking my wife and me, thrice "Have you returned the keys?". The same guy saw my wife and me hauling our luggage to the car, but didn't give a flying fox. When I later pointed it out, he said the same thing as he did when we checked in: "You never asked".||||Well, I would not recommend anyone to waste their money and spoil their mood by staying at Rococco. There're others who do it much better, at much cheaper prices. Spend the money you save on good food, water sports and many other things that Goa has to happen.||||Once again, DON'T,...

2 Stars just for the sake of view that the hotel have else I would have gave it 1 star - The price it offers for the room is no way match to the quality of the room. Rooms are just part of temporary structures that are built on top of each other. The floor makes weird noise when you walk and shakes a bit which makes the so called wardrobe rattle (This is true for first floor, ground floor are in much better shape in terms of shaking ground). Bathroom is another part of basic arrangement where a wash basin is kept on top of square wooden structure.

Another point, this is not at all a family friendly hotel - It is full of Russians who are just there to get themselves tanned, often found drinking beer and smoking (often marijuana) cigarettes. No indecent behaviour or trouble - They are just to themselves.

Also, the room (sea facing deluxe grande) shown in the website and on Make My Trip doesn't match. The room shown is far superior to what it really is and that room does not exists. Looking at that room shown on MMT (I booked this hotel through Make My Trip), I was particularly lucrated to pay 6500/night and what I got was not even worth half of it. Better not to rely on what the website shows or what MMT shows.

Others may find my view bit opposing but I am writing this from family guys' point of view.

Pros: Fabulous location. Beach seems to be completely private. Beach is clean with no one to disturb. Food is quite tasty at first, okay types at second order and boring for all orders later. It gives kind of same kind of taste with little customization for other menu items.

Cons: Everything is over priced. Order anything, it takes 30 - 45 Mins per dish. Breakfast is okay, misses live counter. Casual Rooms. Staff argues if you get late for check out. I requested 30 mins extra for the check out, and staff from reception arrogantly said "Ok... You have just 10 mins extra ... I would be sending boy to get your luggage by then ..." and disconnected the call. I had to go to reception use some harsh words and that guy agreed for 30 mins.

Overall, great location, descent food, expensive beer (no strong beer), and average stay.

Reply to the owner: Regarding checkout - I did had the mentioned experience and an additional hour you mentioned (30 minutes in real) was given after my visit to reception. No harsh feelings but I am putting reality here - I suppose that’s the only interface between us. And yes, I am keen to visit again - u got...

Well just back from this amazing vacation which happened to be a part of our anniversary celebration and honestly I am so happy that I changed my mind at the last moment and decided to stay in north Goa... Well well..now lets talk about this amazing resort..it caught my eye during the search and was kinda hooked on to it for its amazing location but became a little sceptical due to few negative reviews on trip advisor, but then I decided to look at the positive side took the plunge and booked it..after booking(on agoda) I received a welcome message from the hotel which was the first indication that these guys actually care.. So I replied and informed them about my apprehensions as well and to my satisfaction received a reassuring message from the resort, well after a long ride we reached the resort and the first word that came in to my mind was "Wow".. we reached the hotel at around 9.30am and Chek in time being 1 pm meant that we had to wait but the Extremely polite receptionist got us an early check in and we were all set by around 10.30 which was amazing.. The room we booked was not sea facing but I became a little greedy and asked the receptionist if the room can be upgraded to a sea veiw one.. and to our happiness one room became available the following day and there we were in an awsome room with full sea veiw on two sides....even breathtaking is an understatement for the veiw..both me and my wife were really happy.. We made sure that we reach the room before sunset and watch the sun go down from our balcony and then would sit there till mid night discussing anything.. The soothing sound made by the waves was so comforting and refreshing that it would transport you in to different world.. Food, hospitality cleanliness all excellent, one of very few pet friendly places in Goa which is a bonus for furry friend lovers, the location is something I am still speachless about... I want to say a big Thank you to the entire team of Rococco for making our stay wonderful .... this beautiful resort will definitely be a part of all my Goa trips henceforth.... ||My future...

Three stars only for the location and view. The sea view rooms especially on the elevated floor offer a stellar view. The Ala carte food you order from the menu is also good. Alas, it ends there. Due to power fluctuations in Goa, their water motor does not run for more than 10-15 minutes. What this means is your bath tub will not fill by more than 1/4th before running out of water. You may not get even a person's worth of bathing water at times (hot water mainly from the heater). You may get some more cold water if you can bear it. We had to call and order water to use like food. Even using the loo is sometimes an issue. On the last day, the extension went dead. This meant that we had to run to the reception and escalate matters. The complimentary breakfast sounds good only on paper. You get very basic fare like toast, butter, jam, flakes , chola Bhattura or Rajma parantha and coffee with very diluted milk. One fruit as well is served. Go knowing what to expect and if you can take these risks. I think it's just selling due to its proximity to Ashvem beach which almost kisses the property. Calangute and Baga are about 50 minutes drive from the property.

The Hotel is located right on the beach. It has this amazing view to die for right from your balcony. The beach is 30-40 mts away from the hotel and the sand is very clear (almost white in color). The only thing which bothered me was the quality of the flooring inside the room & balcony. The floor would shake for every step I take making me very uncomfortable. The tiles in the balcony were not properly fixed and they used to shake when walked upon (I went to the balcony only twice) and it's very scary. As it's far from the main city of Goa, it's very less crowded and the number of foreigners is higher than of Indians. They hotel provides complimentary breakfast including Indian & continental dishes along with tea/juices. I stayed here from Dec 17-Dec 19. The weather was pleasant in the evenings but it became very sunny in the afternoon (could not go to the beaches during day time)

Very worst experience ever...everything negative about this place.. There is not even a single positive that i could think of...in my one night stay over here i have faced lot of issues...starting from the reception, i saw 4 stray dogs inside the reception room and it was stinking...and then i checked into my room and there was a bad odour in the room... Then the AC makes a lot of noise... Then the water problem i had to call 3-4 times to reception to complain about the problem... Then the geyser problem if i turn on the geyser i would get a electric shock when i touch the shower and tap... Then comes the power cut...there was no power from 2am till 9am...i have seen a good reviews on TripAdvisor and booked this but this place is really horrible... Ps: the below photos might look better than what i have explained above coz of the white sheets but trust me this place is dirty
