1/5 - AVOID SHARDA CLASSIC AT ALL COSTS!

We had a horrific experience with Sharda Classic. We ordered food for 17 people a day in advance, asking for chicken biryani for 12 people. They assured us that 6 portions would be enough, so we ordered 7 portions. And we ordered veg for 5 people, and they claimed 3 portions would suffice. We also ordered 3 portions of chicken 65, expecting 10 pieces per portion as promised.

However, just an hours before the delivery time, they called us and forced us to buy more portions of biryani. We requested to purchase food by weight, but they refused. Under pressure, we ended up buying 12 portions and 1 kg of chicken 65. According to their printed menu, one portion is enough for 2-3 people, and the prices listed are ₹950 for 5 portions of biryani and ₹1000 for 7 portions (1 kg) of chicken 65.

The total bill was a staggering ₹6,260, which is more than double the expected cost based on their menu prices. To add insult to injury, when we tried to speak to the person who took our order, they refused to engage with us. Irresponsible management.

The biryani was extremely overpriced (around ₹300 per portion) and the portions were tiny - barely enough for one person, let alone 2-3 as claimed. Ordered a king fish thali along with a separate plate of extra fish ... Thali extremely disappointing potions too limited the salt fish piece seemed like a fish fin in the plate sol curry was a dilution of some sweetened syrup salad looked like vegetables waste cuttings with a measely portion of cooked vegetables to top it all. That being said since the extra plate of 2 pieces of fish was not consumed we asked for the same to be parceled out which just one slice of the two was packed broken into 4 pieces and dumped like remains in a plastic bag when I complained to the waiter not finding the manager in site said they would reparcel it appropriately finally when the parcel arrived we looked into the contents only to find 1 piece instead of the 2 that we had ordered and paid for. Keep away from this place if you want a pleasant dining experience. Such places leave a bad name for our state especially when we want to enhance the tourism sector. If we locals get cheated in our own place why should our guests/ tourist tolerate...

I recently visited Sharda Classic Restaurant in Fatorda Goa, with my wife and was quite disappointed with the overall experience.

The hospitality and service were extremely poor. When we arrived, we asked a staff member if we could sit at a vacant table. He said it was fine, but just a few minutes later, he asked us to move to another table without any proper reason or apology.

Such behavior shows a complete lack of professionalism and basic courtesy towards guests. The wait staff seemed disinterested and poorly trained. Overall, not the kind of experience you'd expect when going out for a meal. I sincerely hope the management addresses these issues and improves their service.

Such a lack of hospitality is unacceptable, especially in a place that aims to serve guests. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on training the staff better to improve the customer experience.
