Susegad Siolim — Restaurant in Goa

Came here with a friend who has been there once before. Wonderful place to experience authentic goan non-vegetarian cuisine. The staff was also very courteous... They serve in a plate made of leaves which is the way it was served in the olden days. Loved the thalis that we ordered...it had the boiled rice ( ukde tandoor), gravy and alot of other sabzis and pickle.. It was filling, enjoyable and satisfying... The sweet dish that came inside and outside the thalis had coconut and tasted so good. My friend who is also a goan said that the gravy had to be a little spicy. This is a very small restaurant almost on the road so U have to park a little away and then walk here. Loved the goan atmosphere they have tried to create in...

When I tell you "DON'T SLEEP ON THIS GEM" I whole heartedly mean it. We came here cause of the menu variety but we are continuing to dream about it cause of how delicious it was.

The restaurant has a very hole-in-the-wall vibes so don't let that fool you. The waiter who served us was informative about the menu and helped with suggestion. We decided to order the pork vindaloo, chorizo pao and the chicken xacuti. The portion sizes were perfect. I highly recommend having it with a side of rice (bread is the standard). It really soaks up all the meaty goodness.

The meat is absolutely tender and juicy, easy on the pallet and my god the spice blend was a symphony. I am definitely going back for more...

Amazing food and ambiance at this quaint little cafe situated off the main road. The Chicken Cafreal with the home-baked bread was just 🤌 chef's kiss delicious. If you're used to eating the normal white bread out of the packet, the home-baked bread here will be an awakening.

Susegad Siolim also has a small selection of delicious Goan desserts. The Serradura in particular was exquisite.

The food and chic look of the cafe and it's chilled ambiance are not the only highlights. Susegad Siolim also has excellent service. Rajesh and Johnson made sure our brunch was the best one we've had in a while.

Will 10/10 recommend to others and be back here again to try more delicacies...
