The food is great... ambience is special too. We've dined in several times since we live close by and always bring friends to experience the beauty and the food. Yesterday was no exception.
However, I have to say I've noticed that The service has already taken a bit of a beating compared to our recent visits and and last night s lapses were so particularly blatant that I felt it needed to be brought to the attention of the proprietors/partners who I hear have ambitious plans opening more eateries in goa.
I called 2 hours ahead of time to block a table, which was confirmed on the spot. No problem. Strangely, when I asked that our table be reserved away from the loudspeakers, I was told by both the hostess and her line manager that they don't actually take table reservations on a weekend for bookings post 8pm.... How very odd to tell me my table was confirmed and only tell me of the new rules when I asked for seating away from the speakers. Thankfully when we arrived a little after 9pm, there was plenty of seating available and we selected our table ourselves.
I asked for sangria and was told it was not available. Ok. Disappointing but no stress. It is what it is. But then, a table right next to us was occupied by a couple who asked in a little later and what do you know? I see the server getting the lady a glass of sangria! I asked our server to explain why I had been turned down, but the guests right next to us got what was apparently not available Believe it or not- this was the explanation I got "ma'am the lady is pregnant and can only drink sangria so we made it for her although the flavors have not yet seeped in so it isn't really authentic...." My only response to him was- "was there a reason I wasn't offered that same option with the disclaimer that the sangria wouldn't really be on point?" He hemmed and hawed some more but the damage was already done.
These are minor irrtants and Not really major issues dear partners of TBS- but I think you have a training and mentoring opportunity here. Nip the nepotism in the bud. Your guests are not idiots so please don't treat us like we are. This is feedback and im sure you know that it really pis@#es off guests when they get treated differently from other guests for reasons best known to your managers and servers who are otherwise eager to please. I guess we just got not so lucky last evening... we will come back though and think of our experience as an exception and not the rule. Consistency is key. When you change your rules, make them the same for all patrons and not just the important few you aim to appease. We spend a significant amount of time and money at your esteemed new restaurant too Don't let your service orientation go further downhill or it won't matter that you created this surreal setting with decent food. How you make your guests feel about their visit is actually equally important.
Btw... really happy you have adopted an indie dog. He looks great but has minor skin issues that I trust are being looked into by a vet. Your employees didn't even know who the dog s vet was when I asked them. I'm happy to help get the dog treated since I stay a stone s throw away from...

@terezabeachhouse by @sly.granny is a picturesque restaurant in Nerul that beautifully balances casual dining with a touch of class.
The food? Where to begin? How does wolfing down grilled figs and coat cheese sound? Perhaps a vibrant mezze platter or Memphis style smoke pork ribs with mustard BBQ sauce - both among the top dishes I tried. To be honest, it was hard to pick items with dishes like Lamb Ragout Pappardelle, Truffle Chicken Liver Pate and Pumpkin Borani.
The Gnocchi, with parmesan and goat milk ricotta dumplings, peas, asparagus and white cream was sublime, but if you prefer to stick to Indian food, try the Pandi Fry Kulcha comes stuffed Coorgi style spicy pork, placed atop yummy raw mango chutney.
From among the desserts, definitely try the Machhiato Brulee - a real work of art in both flavour and texture. The Classic Lemon Meringue Cake was interesting, and I'd suggest skipping the Biscoff Cheesecake as there are better options to choose from.
The cocktails looked beautiful, and from my cocktail-drinking friends, i hear that the drinks were heady (coz no one likes skimping on the alcohol,...
