Viraj Classic Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Goa

Poor on customer service for sure. We specifically asked for the fish to be served only if its fresh. We were served with the food which had a stale fish. Upon bringing it to the notice to the proprietor of the restaurant we were told that we keep them in deep freezer and are not responsible if you like it. It was surprising to us as being a owner of a restaurant this kind of things coming up from him. The staff and the proprietor both seem rude in nature. Being in Goa and having a stale fish thali and starters is something to be concerned about. What a bummer! Whole family were down with diarrhoea immediately after having lunch here, pomfret was not fresh, fish curry smelt like it was about to get stale. Masala chaas was very watery. Kids who had chicken lollipop only and just white rice by itself were down with fever and severe diarrhoea. Never judge a book by it's cover, Yes firstly we hesitated to visit this restaurant, but our driver said it's a very good restaurant. Then we tried. We went as a group of seven people. We Started with Chicken Soup, Chicken Biriyani, Goan traditional Fish Thali, Pomfret fry and other dishes all tasted good.

So, if you're coming this route plan accordingly to have your food here.
