Had gone to Shantadurga Durgalaya just next to Mangueshi temple basis Google recommendations. This is basically a 8 table seater Bhojnalay or small restaurant with limited food viz. Veg or non veg Thali with additional choice of lassi available. Do not expect much on ambience. We opted for a non veg Thali which consisted of local fish (forgot the name) with chapati, Shimpli (shell fish), mini prawns curry, salad, rice and sol kadi. Refer photos attached. Additional paid dishes available were medium size Prawns and Bangda fry. I did ask for other options but it was a Friday afternoon, so I guess fish availability was limited. Bill for three including additional 2 fish fried plates and sol kadi was under 900 rupees. Payment option is only cash. Ensure you take a vehicle for drop off and return as I could not get a single rickshaw for return and had to call for a cab. Service at the place is reasonably quick and we got our food in about 15 minutes of having placed the order. Ensure to reach by 12.30 pm as seats are limited and the place gets filled up quickly. Overall, 3.5...
