𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗨𝗱𝗶𝗽𝗶 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁 — Restaurant in Gujarat

Update in Aug 2023: Recently I am upset with the food i had! I am severely affected with gastro issues after having Punjabi Thali at the restaurent. It seems the taste enhancers are being used (over use of it as it (sabji & dal) tasted so salty & artificial) or some other issue! Wont give a chance again.

Initial review: My favourite restaurant so far at Valsad which I visit frequently. Udupi hotels are famous for their Udupi cuisine, especially south Indian snacks & dosa items. But here they have Gujarati & north Indian cuisine as well. My favourite is the special Punjabi thali for lunchtime. It has a non-ac dining downstairs & an ac dining upstairs. Maintained neat & clean always. Order time is reasonable and never i faced a delay in replenishing roti or rice as the attendees are very prompt. The price is worth the quality of the food they offer. May face waiting time during peak hours. The only item I couldn't get there was filter coffee which I believe is not in demand at this place & it's okay. Strongly recommend them for the quality & tasty food...

I visited Shree Udipi Restaurant with my family on a weekday and we had a great time. The restaurant is located near the railway station in Valsad and has a spacious and clean ambience. The menu is extensive and offers a variety of dishes, from dosas and uttapams to biryanis and curries, with both vegetarian and Jain options. We ordered cheese onion rava masala dosa, paneer tikka pizza, dal khichdi, and veg gravy, and they were all delicious. The dosa was crispy and cheesy, the pizza was loaded with toppings, the khichdi was comforting and flavorful, and the gravy was rich and creamy. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. The service was fast and friendly, and the staff was polite and helpful. The restaurant also follows safety measures such as sanitization and temperature checks.

I would highly recommend Shree Udipi Restaurant to anyone who is looking for a satisfying and diverse meal. It is a perfect place for a family outing or a casual date. I would definitely visit again and try more dishes...

We have got bad experience this week from Udupi Restaurant. We ordered two punjabi sabji & paid by UPI. Although money was debited from our account, transaction was successful but they denied to hand over the parcel. They waited over 10 minutes and the parcel was still with them. Argument took place between us because they asked us to transfer money again and take the parcel. They said if the money would not return, take cash from us later. We are regular customers and we are not running anywhere. Restaurant people must understand this and behave in a proper way. It doesn't matter if there is a long waiting list every evening, shouting on customers & justifying the matter to other customers is wrong.
