One of the very few family restaurants in South Bopal. Located close to SOBO centre, the place is easily identifiable and has an easy access to parking. The interiors are casual and go well for a basic family restaurant. The menu has a variety of options across cuisines the speciality being Punjabi food. We tried :
Cranberry Mojito : Perfect for a summer evening, had balanced sweetness. 3/5
Tom yum soup : While the appearance was a bit deceiving, the taste was really good. Something different than what a normal Tom Yum tastes. 4/5
Crispy Veg : This one was a bit chewy and too dry for our taste buds. 2/5
Bruschetta : Fairly decent in taste. Would have been more enjoyable had the breads been more soft and buttery. 3/5
Assorted kebab platter : Excellent. Loved the Mushroom. 4/5
Creole sauca pasta : Indian version of pasta. This one was a bit spicy but tasty. 3/5
Paneer handi / Diwani Handi : Pretty similar in taste. Something you usually get at family restaurants. Both were good enough in taste. 3/5
Veg Kheema Masala : This one was best of the lot. Chopped vegetables in brown gravy. A must try here. 4/5
Baked paneer mughlai : Baked paneer in tangy gravy. This one surely went well with the course. 4/5
Dad tadka with jeera rice : The Dal was perfect and the excess tadka gave it a really good taste. 4/5
Overall the place is surely a really good option for people looking for family dining place in South bopal. They also offer unlimited meals both during lunch as...
Read moreWe hosted a baby shower function in January 2025 at Angat 22 Restaurant, and it turned out to be one of the most beautiful and well-organized events we’ve experienced.
The ambience was warm, inviting, and beautifully suited for such a special occasion. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making the event feel both elegant and joyful.
The food was exceptional every dish was packed with flavor and prepared to perfection. Our guests couldn’t stop praising the quality and variety of the menu. It was evident that the chefs put genuine care into their cooking.
A special thanks to Jigar Bhai, who was incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the event. From coordinating timings to ensuring everything ran smoothly, his dedication made a huge difference.
The decorations were done separately and added a personal touch to the venue, enhancing the overall charm of the celebration. Everything looked so aesthetically pleasing and picture-perfect.
The staff was very hygienic and professional, attending to every request with a smile and maintaining cleanliness throughout the function. Their hospitality made all our guests feel comfortable and well taken care of.
Overall, I highly recommend Angat 22 for any special occasion. The service, food, and environment exceeded all expectations, and we’re grateful to the entire team for helping us create such beautiful...
Read moreI along with my family decided to opt-out Angat 22 to satiate the cravings of Punjabi food becuse South Bopal has very few multicuisine restaurants and this restaurant has quite decent interior so we thought to give it a try.
We started ordering with 2 different soups - Italian minestrone and Cheese corn soup.
When the soup arrived unfortunately, both of them were regular thin tometo soup - they apologised and politely asked to exchange.
It seem like obvious mistake to us so we didn’t mind. But in next 5-7 minutes they offered us the same soup adding cheese and corn - yes, I repeat the same tometo soup.
We left it as it was served to us😑
Then orderd masala papad - Running out of words to describe the worst experience of eating masala papad ever. I am still wondering what was wrong with papad - Onion Tometo or cucumber or what else....
Then, my wife had fast - So I thought franch fries 🍟 would be a good idea to go but again to our disappointment- the same odd taste - I thought how any one could go wrong with franch fries.
??????
Then when I tested and I realised something is not okay with the oil.
The same goes wrong with sabji and roti as well.
And next day my brother and mother end up waking Diarrhea and food poisoning.
So I request you all to think thousand times before choosing Angat 22 for...
