I have not had a meal here yet, but this review is in regards to an experience here. On 27th July, '22, there was a sudden and a very heavy rainfall which continued for 2-3 hours. I had my bag and laptop with me but did not have any plastic or waterproof casing to protect it from heavy rains, and could not stand and take shelter because the rain didn't seem like it would stop anytime soon and I had to urgently leave for home. I and my friend had gone to multiple restaurants, shops, etc to get anything that would protect the laptop and the other electronics, but were either refused, or they didn't have one. I finally reached this restaurant, and asked for a plastic bag. Luckily they had some huge plastic bags in the back. Mr Pratap Avtani (the owner) was so warm and compassionate. Without any hesitation or time he asked the staff to get some bags and gave us as many needed for protecting the laptop, and even gave us smaller ones for the phones and wallets. Mr. Pratap then invited us in, provided us with tissues to help dry our hands and faces and also provided us with fresh water to drink. He did not even take any payment for the bags or the water. An absolute gem of a person. His hospitality and kindness are absolutely commendable and I wish nothing but the best for him, and his son, Mr Umesh as well as the restaurant. Would surely go there one day (when my laptop's life is not in jeopardy xD) just...
Read moreIt’s a small restaurant with seating for hardly 20 people. We entered to a smokey room - the smoke, conclusively, exhausted from the kitchen. There were 3/5 tables occupied. While we were the only new customers, it took them 10-15 minutes to take our orders and over half an hour to be served. We had ordered Anda (Egg) Curry and Laccha Paratha - none of which takes much time to cook. Another group that came after us was served first - reasons unknown. They served the Chaas (Buttermilk) almost immediately after placing the order while I sipped through half in wait. The food was decent. The Parathas were slightly hard. Loved the buttermilk. The egg curry was delicious and mildly spiced. The texture of the curry was perfect for the paratha. Food is something that might lure me back in again. I would like to try...
Read moreHi guys, first of all let me share this information with you that this cafe has been shifted to a different place due to certain issues considering the covid effect. Soon they are planning to open new big venture at another place. So unfortunately you will not find the ambience given in photos.
Now coming to the food. So the food was really amazing, we have tried cheese chilly toast ( it was superb ) and pot fries (the crunchiness was fab but missed a good dip with it). We had also tried their palang tod mocktail though I personally didn't liked it much because it was a combination of redbull and coffee. So if you love this combination then you should definitely try it. I would like to thank owner as he replaced the mocktail with fresh...
