⭐ Arpit Ragda Pettis – A Nostalgic Delight at Ankur Cross Road, Ahmedabad Having experienced the timeless allure of Arpit Ragda Pettis, I must say this spot is nothing short of legendary—especially for those who love authentic street food served with yesteryear simplicity and generous flavour. Tradition Meets Taste Arpit Ragda Pettis has been serving its iconic Ragda Patties since the 1990s, and unsurprisingly, the quality and taste remain unwavering. As one reviewer puts it, “Same taste and quality all the time. Superb one.” Rich in Ghee, Rich in Taste The patties, fried in pure Amul ghee, release an unmistakable aroma of ghee that reaches you well before you reach the counter. One customer recalls, “Cooked in pure Amul Ghee. One could smell the Ghee from a distance. The Pettis was really good and delicious.” Flavorful Every Time This joint is all about balanced flavours—soft, ghee-laced patties paired with hearty ragda (chana masala), tangy imli chutney, and crunchy onions. As one user shares, “The ragda is delicious… Service is as quick as Boomrah’s Fast Ball.” Another notes, “They fry pattis in pure Amul Ghee. Don’t ask for modifications… You will not regret.” Value-for-Money Street Food Reasonably priced—around ₹100 to ₹150 per plate—it’s great value for a substantial and soul-satisfying snack. As described: “100 rupees per plate for ragada patties. Quite filling for a person.” And restaurant guides back it up, highlighting its affordability and street-food charm. Efficient, No-Frills Service Expect a quick grab-and-go setup—no seating, simply stand and enjoy, reflecting true street-food culture. • “No space to sit. Stand and eat outlet. Was crowded in the evening.” A Few Quibbles Despite the overwhelming praise, not every experience is flawless. A few recent diners noted inconsistencies: One reviewer mentioned a rude staff member and uneven ragda-to-patty ratio. Another felt the ragda patties were overcooked or lacked proper seasoning upon delivery. Final Verdict Arpit Ragda Pettis at Ankur Cross Road is more than just street food—it's a rich, nostalgic experience rooted in decades of consistency and flavor. If you're craving soft Amul ghee-fried tikki, tangy ragda, and sweet-and-spicy chutneys, this place is a must-visit. Just remember—it’s a standing-only setup, with a little crowd and a hearty portion for every rupee. Pro tip: Go during off-peak hours for quicker service. And if you're not satisfied, don’t hesitate to give feedback—most of the time, it’s all about the love they put...

Read moreArpit Ragda Pettis is hands-down one of the best places in town for authentic, street-style chaat — especially their signature ragda pettis/aalu tikki, which is flavorful, well-spiced, and consistently satisfying. The chutneys are spot-on, the texture of the pettis is just right, and that home-style flavor takes you straight to the heart of classic Indian street food.
That said, a small suggestion — improving service speed during busy hours and slightly increasing portion sizes according the price (appx 100rs for per tikki plate) would make the experience even better. When the food is this good, a little more of it — and a slightly quicker turnaround — would go a long way in making customers even happier.
Overall, giving 5-star for chaat taste not for price and qty offered, and definitely a must-visit if you're in the area. Can’t denied to come back again if revised the prices...
