Green Ghotalo and Kolhapuri Ghotalo with extra garlic paav.

Both Ghotalo dishes had boiled egg grated into the thick garlicky oniony Masala, and the yolk was not visible so must have been semi boiled and mixed into the gravy. The Kolhapuri was extremely garlicky and quite spicy too. The dishes are thick soupy when served and are served Dhaba style so no frills around it, or any extra raw onion.

The chillies used in both dishes and the Garlic paav gave me a acid reflux later that night, and am generally chilly proof. Just saying ....

However, both dishes seemed a bit under cooked for my personal palette . But apparently people in Ahmedabad swear by it, and this guy has 4-5 franchisees in the city which has the officially strictly vegetarians sneaking to these places by the hordes, so I alone can't contest.

The Garlic paav is not bad as finger food but is a overpowering combination if had with the Ghotalos, so the Ghotalos are better with the complimentary saado paav.

Please I request you if you really want to save your hard earned money, do yourself a favour and DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT !!!!!!!!!!!!😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

On 29th Feb,2024 I went to this restaurant and along with food ordered a bottle of maaza cold drink. The MRP of that bottle written was 15 RS and when the bill (NO OFFICIAL BILL, WRITTEN BY PEN ON PLANE PAPER) came, restaurant charged me 20 RS for this. When I complained about it, the restaurant owner (I think) a bald guy working there started arguing with me saying that is our rate and the same has been written in the menu as well. We charge 20RS no matter what. I denied and didn’t pay 5RS extra and when I was about to leave he started throwing taunts at me like DONT COME HERE & if you do DO NOT ORDER cold drink bla bla…!!

I think they are running this restaurant ILLEGALLY as they didn’t provide any valid bill for food.

Food Verdict : Terribly overpriced and tasteless. They are charging 100₹ for an OMLETTE🤯🤯🤬😡.

I will never go there and I will also request you to please skip this illegal spot and eat somewhere else. There are better egg eateries...

Don’t know what the reviewers are raving about, this was a very average place. We tried many things the only GREAT thing was Egg Lachko(green). Other than that everything was average. The key reason to come here may be the surti patti pav, that pav was also good. But there are way better places than this.

I thought maybe I’m ordering the wrong things so I asked suggestions from manager was not able to suggest anything properly but suggested chui mui finally after begging for a name. These guys even made gotala bad, who makes gotala bad yaar?! Avoid IMO.
