High On Chai has consistently been one of our favorite spots near our home. We’ve been visiting this café regularly, sometimes twice a week, for the last several months. The place has a welcoming atmosphere, making it perfect for unwinding or having a quick snack. We've always appreciated the quality service and the variety on the menu. Some of our all-time favorites include Masala Chai, Hazelnut Cold Coffee, Bournvita, and Pizza. The Peri Peri Pakoda, in particular, is a must-try for anyone who visits. The café’s ambiance is great, and the seating arrangement is comfortable. During weekends, it tends to be quite busy, with waiting times that are usually worth it, thanks to the food and atmosphere. The valet parking service, available till midnight, is also a convenient addition, especially when finding a spot can be tricky.

However, our recent experience left us quite disappointed. We ordered our usual coffee, but this time, we noticed that the glass was filled halfway with ice cubes. It was surprising and felt like a downgrade in terms of quality. Given our frequent visits, we didn’t make much of it at the time, thinking it might be a one-off occurrence. Unfortunately, the situation took a turn for the worse when my husband developed a severe throat infection the very next day. This happened during a peak period for our travel business, where he is dealing with a significant number of inquiries and bookings. As a result, he had to rest for three days, impacting our business operations.

This incident raised concerns about the quality control at the café, especially regarding the ingredients used. Considering that cafes like High On Chai charge a premium for their items, customers expect high standards in return. It is disappointing to feel let down by a place we’ve regularly supported. We believe that while minor issues can be overlooked, health-related concerns should be taken seriously by any establishment.

Earlier this year we also had bad experience with hot chocolate aswell.

We hope the management takes this feedback constructively and considers implementing stricter quality checks to ensure this does not happen again. A gesture of apology or some acknowledgment from the café would be appreciated, as we’ve been loyal customers who have always recommended this place to others.

High on Chai is truly a hidden gem for anyone looking to relax, unwind, and enjoy some delicious food. The vibe of the place is absolutely amazing — cozy, welcoming, and perfect for spending quality time with friends. They offer two seating options: a lovely terrace with open skies and a unique spot under the tree that gives a peaceful, nature-inspired feel.

We ordered their spicy Italian sandwiches, Maggi, Adrak wali chai (a must-try!), and a mojito. Every dish was full of flavor and freshly prepared — honestly, everything was mouth-watering. The chai especially hits the spot if you’re a tea lover!

It’s an ideal hangout spot whether you're catching up with friends, on a casual date, or even working remotely. The ambiance, combined with tasty food and reasonable pricing, makes it one of the best cafes in the area.
