On February 22, 2025, my family and I attended a marriage reception at Barbecue Ville, Vadodara. The event had around 500 guests and was hosted at an entire floor of the Broadway Empire building at Nilamber Circle, which is part of the restaurant's brand-new property. The adjacent banquet hall 'Mandapam' is also newly constructed, adding to the fresh and inviting ambiance of the venue. Barbecue Ville offers a diverse menu with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The food quality was exceptional—delicious and satisfying. As the function commenced, welcome drinks were served to all guests, followed by an array of delectable starters, which were personally served to guests at their seating areas. The dining setup was well-organized, with separate island tables designated for Soups, Pani Puri, Dahi Puri, Desserts, and Drinking Water. Additionally, two separate buffet tables were arranged for the main course, ensuring smooth and efficient service. The wait staff were courteous, attentive, and quick in clearing tables as needed, contributing to a seamless dining experience. One of the standout features of the venue was its infrastructure. The property boasts ample parking space, ensuring convenience for guests. Moreover, two air-conditioned rooms were provided for feeding babies, changing clothes, or resting senior citizens—a thoughtful addition that enhances guest comfort. The washrooms were clean, well-maintained, and separately designated for ladies and gentlemen, further highlighting the venue’s commitment to hygiene and hospitality. Overall, the experience at Barbecue Ville was nothing short of extraordinary—offering a luxurious setting, impeccable service, and outstanding cuisine. It certainly exceeded expectations and provided a more-than-five-star experience. I highly recommend this venue for hosting grand celebrations and...
Read moreWe have been a regular customer at Barbeque Ville since almost 5-6 years. The most visited outlet being in Nashik. My engagement’s previous day ceremony was hosted at Barbeque Ville that’s the trust we had. So when it was inaugurated in Vadodara was really excited and first time experience was also quite good in Vadodara but yesterday was a total messy and bad experience for us. I called the restaurant at 9:30am in the morning for reservation and they said they made a reservation for 5 at 7:30pm. We reached the restaurant at night to our surprise the manager said there is no such reservation for the said name and number. He then went in and made us sit at 4 seater table which was a bit uncomfortable so i checked other tables which were available and he didn’t change the seats saying its reserved while it was vacant for quite long. The serving of food started after almost half an hour with multiple requests from us to start the barbeque and serving. On complaining to the manager he was quite rude. I had to then go to the entrance where there was a Malayalee staff who then had some talks to the manager but they had very less staff so it was all in vien. We had to call the waiters multiple times to ask them for starters we had to personally ask if this starter is available kindly bring the same. We were so disappointed that we started with main course. The starters they used to bring were also limited quantity with 4-5 people they only brought 2-3 pieces of lollipop or other starters then other family members had to wait another 15mins for same. I don’t think we would prefer or suggest someone to visit Vadodara Barbeque ville again. Almost all the guests looked...
Read moreWe went for dinner on a Friday, opting for the unlimited veg buffet priced at 699 + taxes. While I understand that the restaurant is new and still finding its footing, here are my observations and suggestions for improvement.
The food was good, but not excellent when looked at the price. The starters and grill items were nice, but the salad items felt like a scam just to bulk up the menu. The main course was decent, and the desserts were average. If you’re offering stone ice cream, ensure you have multiple topping options. Most places use vanilla as a base with various toppings, which tastes great and goes well with most toppings, but this wasn't available here. Also, mocktails are missing.
The service was very poor and slow, needing significant improvement. I had to ask multiple times for a single thing, and there was no coordination between the waiters. The ambiance was nice, with a clean dining area and a large capacity. However, the current staff struggled to provide proper service even when the restaurant was only 10% occupied. I doubt they can handle a full house without major improvements.
When I’m paying a premium price, I expect perfection in food, service, and ambiance. Many other restaurants offer similar unlimited BBQ buffets between 450-550 with comparable service. If you want to justify higher prices, you need to excel...
