પાણીપુરીની સાઇઝ, ચોળાફળીના ટેસ્ટની મોજ એટલે ભગતની ખસ્તા કચોરીનો જામો

ઘણા વખતે પોસ્ટ લખું છું પરંતુ ઘણા વખત પછી મારી વર્ષોથી ઇચ્છા હતી તેવા ટેસ્ટની ખસ્તા કચોરી ખાવા મળી છે એટલે મેં કીધું મારા પ્રિય ફુડી મિત્રોને પણ લાભ આપું. એક ન્યુઝ સ્ટોરી બાબતે શાહીબાગ હતો અને ઓફિસ પરત ફરતો હતો ત્યારે મિત્ર અમિત પંચાલનો ફોન આવ્યો. અમીત જ્યાં હતા તે રસ્તેથી જ પસાર થવાનું હતું એટલે એણે કીધું આવી જાવ ‘ભગતની કચોરી’ ખાઇએ. નામ જ કંઇક યુનીક લાગ્યું એટલે પહોંચી ગયો. જોઇને જ ખુશ થઇ ગયો. કચોરીથી નાની સાઇઝ અને પાણીપુરીથી મોટી કે જે ડાઇનીંગ હોલમાં પોચી પુરી મળે તેટલી સાઇઝની કચોરી. આખે-આખી જ મોઢામાં મુકી શકાય અને જે તીખી-મીઠી ચટણી સાથેના ટેસ્ટનો વિસ્ફોટ થાય તેનો આંખો બંધ કરીને અહેસાસ કરી શકાય. ખસ્તા કચોરી તો મને બહુ જ ભાવે પણ આવી કચોરીની એક કલ્પના કરી હતી અને આજે પૂરી થઇ. હવે તેની ખાસિયતો વિશે જાણીએ અને સરનામુ છેલ્લે લખ્યું છે. વાંચીને પહોંચી જજો ખાવા.

1. અહીં ત્રણ વસ્તુ જોરદાર મળે છે, કચોરી, સમોસા અને પકવાન પુરી

2. રૂ. 20માં ચાર નંગ કચોરી અને અંદર સરખા પ્રમાણમાં મગની દાળનો માવો

3. સમોસા ખાવા હોય તો બપોર પહેલા પહોંચી જવું પડે નહી તો ખતમ

4. તેની તીખી ચટણી છે તે જોરદાર લાગી અને મીઠી ચટણી ઠીક-ઠીક પણ બન્નેનો સંગમ અદભૂત

5. તીખી ચટણીનો ટેસ્ટ ચોળાફળીની ચટણી જેવો હોય છે.

6. તીખી ચટણી ફુદીનો, મરચા, કોથમીર, કાળા મરી, અજમા અને જીરુનો ભૂકો નાખેલી હોય છે અને ખાધેલું પચી જાય તેવી અદભૂત ટેસ્ટ.

7. માત્ર તીખી ચટણી નાખીને જ કચોરીનો સ્વાદ લઇ શકાય

8. પકવાન પુરી એટલે કે મોટી સાઇઝની મેંદાના લોટની ક્રીસ્પી પુરી ઉપર બન્ને ચટણી અને ઉપર તેમને ખાસ બનાવેલો ગરમ મસાલો છાંટીને આપે એટલે તે પણ અદભૂત

9. એક ડીશમાં ચાર કચોરી અને ચટણી નાખીને આપે. ઉપરથી સ્વાદ પ્રમાણે મસાલો નાખીને ઝાપટવાની.

10. દુકાનદારો પણ સીધા સાદા અને મોજીલા. તેમની જોડે વાતો કરવાની મજા આવી.

11. તેમને મેં કીધું આ તો ચોળાફળીની ચટણી છે. તો કહે તેમાં મરી, અજમો અને શેકેલું જીરૂ ના આવે પણ અમારી ચટણીમા આવે.તો મેં કીધું આ તો આયુર્વેદીક ચટણી થઇ તો ખુશ થઇ ગયા. મને કહે હવે ગ્રાહકોને એમ જ કહીશ કે આયુર્વેદીક ચટણી છે.

હવે લખી લો સરનામુ – ભગતની કચોરી, સુમેળ-6 કોમ્પલેક્ષ પાસે, નેશનલ હેન્ડલુમની બાજુમાં, દુધેશ્વરથી શાહપુર રોડ, અમદાવાદ.

જગ્યા અઘરી લાગી? તો જાણીલો આવી રીતે જજો.

લેન્ડમાર્ક –

1. જો આશ્રમ રોડ બાજુ હોવ તો – વાડજથી દધિચી બ્રિજ ઉતરીને જમણી તરફ બીઆરટીએસના રસ્તે વળી જવાનું. ત્યાં થોડેક આગળ જશો ત્યાં આ સુમેળ કોમ્પલેક્ષ આવેલું છે. તેનાથી સહેજ આગળ જાવ એટલે પહેલો નહી ને બીજો ખાંચો આવે ત્યાં કોઇને પૂછજો.

2. શાહીબાગ હોવ તો? – પોલીસ કમિશનરની કચેરીની બાજુના ખાંચામાં વળી જવાનું અને દધિચી બ્રીજ આવે તે પહેલા જે મંદિર વાળું સર્કલ આવે છે ત્યાંથી ડાબી બાજુ વળીને ઉપર કીધો તેવા રસ્તે જવાનું.

3. જો દિલ્હી દરવાજા હોવ તો? હાલમાં દિલ્દી દરવાજાથી ઇન્કમટેક્ષ જવા માટે ડાયવર્ઝન આપેલું છે. એટલે શાહપુર થઇને જવાય છે. દિલ્હી દરવાજાથી તે ડાયવર્ઝનના રસ્તે જાવ ત્યારે એક તરફ શાહપુર જવાય જ્યારે બીજી તરફ દુધેશ્વર-દધિચી બ્રીજને બીઆરટીએસનો રસ્તો આવે છે બસ તે રસ્તે આગળ વધવાનું અને ત્યાં કોકને પૂછી લે જો. રસ્તાની જમણી તરફના ખાંચે આવશે.

હજી પણ ના જડે તો મને કોલ કરજો. ગુગલ મેપમા સુમેળ કોમ્પ્લેક્ષ અથવા નેશનલ હેન્ડલુમ, દુધેશ્વર નાખજો.. બાય બાય Nikunj Soni...

Absolute Bliss at Bhagat Samosa and Kachori! I recently visited this hidden gem and was blown away by the variety of delicious options they offer. I indulged in their Ghatiya, Khammam, Kesar Lassi, Kachori, Samosa, and Khandvi - every single item was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely amazing!

The prices? Unbeatable! Extremely reasonable and pocket friendly, making it a perfect spot for breakfast or a snack. But what truly sets them apart is the warm hospitality. The owner and staff were super nice, helpful, and informative. A lovely touch!

One minor note: they start preparing around 6:30 am, but the food is served from 7:15 am onwards. Worth the wait!

Overall, I'm giving Bhagat Samosa and Kachori a well-deserved 5-star rating. If you're a foodie like me, you MUST visit this place! Highly recommended and I'll definitely be back for...
