This cafe has a policy that you have to pay ₹250 for every hour you sit. Regardless of what you want to order and no matter how much it costs. You have to pay 250 every hour, starting right from the moment you enter the cafe. They have per minute charges also @₹4.16. Eg, if you sit for 1 hr 10 mins, they charge you for those 10 minutes also. (250+41.6= ₹291.6) (Fun Fact: The most expensive thing on their menu is Ferrero Rocher milkshake which is of 249 rupees. So it really doesn't matter what you order, you pay for the most expensive thing on the menu every hour.)

Even after talking to the owner about this, they showed no interest in understanding the customer's perspective and argued that they have to make 250 every hour. We proposed that for atleast the first hour, we should be allowed to pay just the price of what we ordered. But the owner kept saying 'It is their rule, they can't change it'.

I really appreciated their initiative because I understand people sit in cafes for hours without ordering much. But starting this fine for 250 rupees right from the very first hour seemed unreasonable and flawed.

They have ruined the whole purpose of going to a 'Cafe' to relax, as you constantly have to watch the clock.

Everything is good about the place the only problem i face is that we are only supposed to sit for ordering the food for 1 hour, if we want to further increase the time to sit at the place they'll charge another 250rs. I don't mind price, but at some point if we order anything to eat we need to hurry it or they'll ask to increase another hour to have food. This way we cannot enjoy and keep looking at time cause this is what happens. Also if 2 people come at place we need to order for 250 rs which is okay but i feel they should not further ask to increase time as after which anyone has to pay another 250 if we haven't completed food in given time of an hour. Conclusion- It feels like we are in some challenge to eat food within one hour if we don't want to increase time frame which will cost us another 250 rs. And everyone likes to go out to talk & Enjoy with friends rather than being in a hurry to eat...

Worst Experience at Cafe L’amour – Highly Disappointed!

Visited Cafe L’amour today and I must say, it was one of the worst experiences ever.

The staff was extremely rude, behaved as if they were doing us a favor by letting us in.

No basic hygiene – tables were dirty, no one was cleaning anything, and the overall environment felt neglected.

The staff's attitude was arrogant and unprofessional – no sense of hospitality at all.

Some of them even made us feel uncomfortable with the way they looked and behaved – absolutely unacceptable!

This kind of service not only ruins the reputation of the cafe but also makes you question how such places are still running.

👎 Would not recommend this place to anyone. Save your time, money, and peace of mind. There are many better places to hang out...
