Let me quote a genuine review to open your eyes wide
"Matla Chicken" a signature dish of this restaurant is just an hoax... Nothing special or anything new in this dish... Below average dish which is just over rated... One more tip I would like to give you guys out there is, not to book more than one "Matla Chicken" as this dish is totally a waste of money (They only serve this dish for advance bookings) and you can't cancel it out if you don't like it
If someone has a misconception that this restaurant is a family restaurant then forget about the concept of "Family Restaurant"
I am telling this with a responsibility, these peoples don't have that clean eye to see your women nor they know how to respect them 😭😭
The staff is ever rude and of ill nature... They don't even know how to treat their customers... They judge the customers from their attire and status so middle class families are not being treated well here 😭😭
Not only me but so many customers have faced the same problem... I would rather suggest to being hungry than to visit...
Read moreA nice place to have both Veg and non veg delicacies... The place is overtly famous for it's deliciously tasty Matla Chicken... But there is a catch before you visit this place to savour the delicacy. You have to call the restaurant a day before you visit them. If you reach prior informing them you may not be able to order Matla Chicken but you can try other dishes. They don't serve half Matla Chicken.so make sure you are accompanied by at least 1 person along with you. It's too much for even 2 person.
It tastes amazing with whole chicken marinated and stuffed with gravy of coconut, Ginger, curd and garlic to make the flavour and aroma spread throughout the chicken. Then it is wrapped in a aluminium foil tightly and made to cook for in a Matka for few hours. The chicken is cooked very nicely and just melts out by just touching it. Ambience of the restaurant is good and you will find mostly family crowd.
I will rate 4 star for this amazing dish. I take out 1star only because they don't have option for 1...
Read moreHungry-the Jungle, is a jungle-themed restaurant located on National Highway 8, near Chikhodra Crossing, Anand enroute Vadodara from Ahmedabad. The interiors have been designed accordingly to give the ambience, the look and feel of a forest. I was on my way to Vadodara with a friend when I discovered the place, on the pretext of a discussion with him as to where can we stop by and have lunch. He recommended it specially for the non-veg food. At the restaurant, we ordered Desi Chicken (with bone) and to be honest, as hungry as I was, I literally gorged on the food as it was so delicious. The non veg food here is one of the best in Anand. I highly recommend it for good food lovers.
Adding to a bit more in the ambience, the place has got open dining space as well, aptly named after the national parks of India. There is kids play zone as well. And yes, the staff members here are very cordial and...
