As someone who’s a hardcore Gathiya lover, I’ve been eating at Iscon Gathiya since 2021, starting from their small laari (food cart) near the Bapunagar branch, back when I lived in Vastral.
Since then, I’ve seen them grow beautifully — now with branches at Bhadaj Circle, Karnavati Club (SG Highway), and a full-fledged restaurant at Science City, Sola. And I must say — the food, the service, and the overall user experience is just mind-blowing.
🍽️ Food & Taste: ✅ Gathiya – Soft, fresh, and perfectly spiced (9/10)
✅ Kesar Jalebi – Hot, crunchy, and just sweet enough (9/10)
✅ Fafda – Light, crispy, and full of flavor (10/10)
✅ Thepla – One of the best I’ve had (10/10)
✅ Dhokla – Soft and fresh (8/10)
✅ Nylon Khaman – My personal favorite out of the two varieties
✅ Unlimited Sides – Green chutney, fried mirchi, papaya sambharo, and kadhi – all served fresh and with love
They also offer packed snacks – perfect for gifting or taking back to non-Gujarati friends and family for a true taste of Gujarat.
🛎️ Service & Ambience: ✅ Excellent service, even during busy hours
✅ Polite and efficient staff
✅ Clean and hygienic setup with CCTV for safety
✅ Well-managed seating arrangements
✅ Parcel & takeaway available
⚠️ Yes, it can get very crowded, especially during weekends and Navratri, but trust me — the food is absolutely worth the wait.
🏁 Final Thoughts: From a small cart to multiple prime locations, Iscon Gathiya’s dedication to quality, taste, and customer experience is admirable. As someone who’s been part of their journey, I feel proud seeing how far they’ve come.

Read moreI recently visited Iskon Gathiya for breakfast and had their jalebi, fafda, gathiya, and chai. The taste was excellent—everything was fresh, flavorful, and served with chutney and other accompaniments that really enhanced the experience. The place is usually very crowded, so you may have to wait a while before your number comes, but the quality of food makes it worth it. Prices are quite reasonable considering the taste and portion size. The only thing I found average was the tea, which could be improved. Seating is not available, so you have to eat while standing, but they also provide parcel service if you prefer takeaway. Overall, a great spot for authentic and tasty...
