I went to Robo Cafe in Science City Ahmedabad some time ago and it was quite an interesting experience. The main attraction is of course the robot that comes to serve your food. My nephew was so excited when it came near our table with a plate of samosa. He kept smiling and even tried talking to it which made the whole family laugh. Kids really enjoy this place and even adults find it amusing to see a robot acting like a waiter.

The ordering system is simple as you just scan a QR code and select what you want. After that the robot brings the food to your table and you have to take it from the tray. It almost feels like playing with a remote toy but with real food. The food itself was decent in taste, nothing extraordinary, but good enough for snacks and quick bites. Prices felt a little high compared to what you normally pay at cafes, even a water bottle cost more than expected. I guess a part of what you pay is for the unique experience rather than just the food quality.
