La Chef — Restaurant in Gujarat

We entered the hotel to go to the restaurant and since it is on the first floor we took the stairs. It was stinking and all of a sudden it felt like we were in some shady hotel!

The restaurant has a nice decor and the staff was kind enough to happily agree with two of us occupying a table of 6.

We ordered veg clear soup, baked potatoes, mezze platter and classic mojito. The soup had just baby corn, carrots and beans. It tasted decent. Baked potatoes were good.... i felt it had more of a Mexican flavour due to the salsa and cream cheese in it. mezze platter was okish too. Baba ganoush was very bland. Hummus was towards the saltier side but bearable. yogurt was good. Harissa and tahini were okish. Veggies served along were tomato, onion and lettuce which was again meh... They could have added a few more things like cucumber, carrot, olives and it could have been better. And as far as i know mezze platter has veggie sticks. They served shredded lettuce, and randomly chopped tomatoes and onions. Kebab and pita bread were fine. Mojito was made with mojito syrup. Well i expected to get a fresh mojito from a hotel of this level! They made the mojito less sweet as per our request.

There was a group of people coming and they were rearranging the tables and the staff was dragging the tables and even the chairs( which anyone could have easily lifted) creating a nuisance.

The staff is polite, the setup is good but it doesn't feel like you're in a 3 star hotel. It ultimately gave the vibes of a random road...

The one star I gave is because lower than this google didnt provide. The worst experience I had with la chef. नाम बड़े दर्शन खोटे। I visited last night with my friends. No one ask for mask ot sanitizer so no any precautions taken by hotel in this pandemic situation.

No one visit our table for order or just water.

I asked other staff repeatedly to take order then they took.

I ordered different thing and they serve another thing.

No service, poor staff management and hospitality is zero out of hundred.

No one stay at reception to give answer.

Late service and no reply if you tell something.

I never thought that my first experience in this big hotel gonna worst.

I recommend you to never visit this hotel. Every customer of la chef is complaining last night about all things.

Please dont go this expensive and worst hotel.

And this is too expensive than other hotels and restaurants situated near by.

The food quality is good but due to late service you have to eat cold food.

Please if you ever thought to visit this hotel think twice . Hit like if you experienced this...

Great food. But at the restaurant which is at 1st floor, I'm very disappointed with quantity and quality of the food and personally i don't feel like to go again for indian cuisine it's feel like waste of money it's test less.(I'll compromise with the quantity but I'll never let go the quality of test) But you can definitely try their Chinese and Italian and maxican food. For the Indian cuisine I'll prefer local restaurants would be the great option. Another thing is the sitting of the restaurant which is at 1st floor was Little bit uncomfortable, chairs without cushioning and it feels like 3 star hotel. However ambience...
