!! A Flavorful Evening !! At #LAUREL

For those who have been missing the amazing food from Flavor for years, I can relate!

I recently had an extravagant evening with friends at the newly opened “LAUREL” by Flavors.

The menu is incredibly creative, yet it retains the originality and spice amalgamation that Flavor Restaurant is known for.

Here are the dishes we tried, and I must say, each one was drool-worthy:

Tibetan Wonton Soup: A perfect soup with freshly churned garlic, Tibetan spices, and vegetables. (Must try)

Vietnamese Roll: The beauty of this dish is indescribable. The salad and special sauce served with it were mind-blowing.

Japanese Katsu: The best I’ve had so far, served with authentic sticky jasmine rice.

Lasagne: A signature dish from Flavor for years. If you know, you know.

Farmhouse Pizza: I found it average, but the different olive oil options were a nice touch.

Andhra Tomato Pulav: Another signature dish from Flavor, served in Hari mirch salan gravy. Strictly for spicy lovers.

We also tried their mocktails:

Rum Romeo: A drink that loves you back.

Caramel Lemonade: Loved the amalgamation of caramel, lemon, and their special spice. Very different yet smooth.

Brewed Cactus: A taste you find on the go.

All the mocktails are worth trying at least once.

They also served us a complimentary dessert: Burnt Butt Philadelphia Cheesecake. The cake was freshly made and served with amazing chocolate sauce.

One thing I loved the most is that every dish was prepared fresh and portioned perfectly. Service is top notch and loved the involvement of the head chef by taking feedback.

This place is not for the price-minded but for those who love to tingle their taste buds.

We went for dinner. Ambience was pretty horrible, decorations are nice but the place is quite small and cramped and the entire place packed with groups speaking loudly just amplified the bad experience. The tables for small groups are quite small when you factor the "decorative huge bowl" they put on it. Regarding the food- the neopolitan farm fresh pizza was decent however the cheese was quite less compared to other places we have been to and for the unbelievable pricing the sides of the base were absolutely dry. The Mexican Hot pot was excellent for sure, no complaints there. And the Ravioli in mixed sauce was also great but again definitely does not justify the absolutely ridiculous pricing. They give 1 small piece of garlic bread with it. Most places we have been 2 are kind enough to give 2 for a leaser cost. And on asking they said this is our policy. So between a small group they give 1 small piece of bread. Unbelievable. A small bright point was the portion size which was decent. When going to a place like this which advertised a premium experience at premium pricing, one expects a mind-blowing experience which definitely wasn't the case. The staff is polite and good. Overall, little disappointed as it was decent experience but nothing extraordinary like...

I visited this restra recently and while the food and ambiance were good,my overall experience was completely ruined by their valet parking service.

I had left my car with the valet, and unfortunately, when I returned, I discovered that my sunglasses had been stolen from inside the vehicle. This is extremely disappointing and unacceptable, especially from a place of this standard.

I immediately raised the issue with the Manager sohag but the response was not satisfactory .He gave me owner contact no Mr Paresh Desai his response was like we are not responsible for vallet parking services ,when you giving free vallet at your place you guys are responsible for that.In service industry lthis type of responses in not at all acceptalbe. Such negligence not only affects customer trust but also damages the restaurant’s reputation.

⚠️ Warning to future customers: Be extra cautious if you use their valet service. Do not leave any belongings in the car.

I truly hope the management takes responsibility and ensures proper checks, accountability, and action against such incidents. Until then, I cannot recommend this...
