Authentic Dum Biryanis are hard to make so this was a great take on it. The sides served with it were really nice. The prices of all dishes were nominal and quantity was good. Service was pretty quick. A good veg biryani in the range of 250 is really a good deal. It is a decent bet when you dont want to go for any lavish and jazzy dinner and want a good tasting biryani in good quantity. Must try. Ordered paneer chole bhature and manchurian gravy fried rice.
The portions delivered were more than expected at the price so were really fulfilling. The bhatures were huge and the chole was lip smackingly delicious. The fries rice was delicious and the gravy with it was very tasty.
Overall a very good experience and would definately recommend people to give this restaurant a try and have a good day. You can enjoy Vadodara's very own matka biryani here.... A unique taste of biryani. Staff is very humble and owner is always ready to offee you good hospitality. This marwari food corner provides many north indian specially Rajasthani dishes. I had matka Dum biryani and dal bati, which was in good flavour with very good taste. I don't really remember if I had a bad experience at restaurant, because every time I want to go to eat at restaurant, I always read the restaurant review online. Restaurant review is so helpful for the new customer and culinary hunter like me. I wrote plenty of the reviews too and most of them are good. The restaurant was not very crowded, I entered it in about 5 minutes. The clerk was very responsive and a very kind person. I ordered matka biryani and kaju sabji. They...
Read moreLocated on one end of Ratri Bazar, Vadodra. It is difficult to reach the place by travelling across other restuarants in the Bazar, as each restuarant has deployed one or more advertisers to catch customers. Please note- Entire Ratri Bazaar has vegetarian only restuarant. The restuarant is an open air setup with partly shed covered seating. Plastic chair seating. Minimal to below average hygiene. The place is know for its Dum Biryani served in Matka. The mutka contains at its lower level thick masala gravy, followed by dum biryani and garnished with cheese grate along with onion salad. The gravy was quite spicy ( even though we insisted on non spicy serving). We also ordered Paneer Angara (on waiter's recommendation) which was decent in portion but was spicy too. Dum matka biryani: 3/5 Panner angara: (3/5) Hygiene : 2/5 Ambience : 2/5 Value for money: 3/5 Every restuarant in ratri bazar has almost similar menu serving north indian, south Indian and Chinese cuisine, including this one. The price at the food corner is on par with 3star restuarants. Overall...
Read moreThe Worst Chinese Bhel I've Ever Had
I usually enjoy Chinese Bhel as a tangy, crispy street food snack, but this one was a disaster from the first bite.
First off, the noodles were soggy—not crisp or fresh—and tasted like they had been pre-cooked hours ago. Instead of the spicy, tangy flavor I expected, it was drenched in a bizarrely sweet, ketchup-heavy sauce that completely overpowered any other ingredient. There was barely any crunch from the vegetables, which were limp and watery. The seasoning was inconsistent—one bite bland, the next overpoweringly salty.
To make matters worse, it was served cold, with a greasy aftertaste that lingered unpleasantly. Even the presentation looked sad, like it had been carelessly thrown together. It was more like a failed fusion experiment than street food.
Verdict: 1/5 – If you want to ruin your mood and your appetite, this is the Chinese Bhel for you.
I would like to suggest that don't go at that...
