McDonald's — Restaurant in Gujarat

This is newly opened Macdonald’s in Vastral. The sitting area is huge and has around 50+ sitting capacity. Digital order machines are installed to make your order experience more easy and smooth if you are technical aware or else servers help you to order. I have recently ordered Meal over it and as I have a Rupay card I was not able to pay at their digital machine and I have choose to pay at the counter. The guys at the Macdonalds are obsessed with ice in the drinks. I specifically ask them that i want my drink without ICE but still when I have received my order my Drink was full of ICE. When I enquired about this issue they said we have a company policy that we cannot serve our drinks without out that is complete bizarre. So,if you have some health issue or teeth sensitivity issue you cannot have a drink at Macdonalds. As mentioned in previous reviews of other people who complained about a lot of ice in their drinks I request that Macdonalds must take a note and give proper training to its employees regarding the use of ice.

Disappointing Staff Attitude - McDonald's Review (Visit on 23.09.24, 3:20PM)**

I visited McDonald's with my 6 yrs son on 23rd Sep 2024. While we were eating, my son accidentally dropped some cabbage from his burger nd when i checked there is no tissue paper on my plate. I noticed a staff member named Abhinash nearby and politely asked him for some tissue paper. Instead of helping, he rudely told me to go get it from the reception and walked away. It wasn’t about the fact that I could get the tissue myself; it was his dismissive and impolite response that was upsetting.

Thankfully, another staff member, Swati, graciously provided the tissue with a kind attitude, and I made sure to thank her. Customer service goes a long way, and while I appreciate Swati’s professionalism, Abhinash’s behavior left a poor impression. I hope the staff can be more polite and considerate...

Terrible experience on June 1st, 2025. I visited this McDonald's outlet near Subway on the Gujarat highway (Changodar area) and ordered two McVeggies around 3:00 PM. Had to wait 15–20 minutes due to complete disorganization. The order display screen wasn't working, staff were yelling out numbers, kitchen staff were either eating or standing around, and no one was managing the counter.

I waited 15 more minutes at the counter without any staff in sight, even though a long queue had formed behind me. I had to shout to get my order. When I asked to speak with the manager, three different people showed up asking what happened but didn’t solve anything.

Really disappointing service for a brand like McDonald’s. I’ve been to this place many times before, but this was the worst experience so far. Needs serious...
