The review is about the staff’s behaviour. I recently booked a table for 5 at 10:30 PM. The reservation was accepted after initially being waitlisted and we arrived at 10:20 PM. We ordered food and started eating but by 11 PM, a staff member told us they were closing and that we should order immediately or we wouldn’t be able to. When I asked for just 5 minutes to decide if the food was enough, he kind of refused and gave a weird expression. Because of the rush, we placed an order for Masaledar Chicken Biryani just two minutes later and it turned out to be the worst biryani we’ve ever had. It tasted like rice tossed in leftover gravy with roasted chicken. Rest all the other dishes was good. Suggestion to management: If you can’t let customers dine in peace, please don’t accept reservations at 10:30 PM. How can you even expect anyone to finish when the food arrived at 10:40? You were asking us to confirm by 11 whether we wanted starters, main course or anything else. We even mentioned that agar ab roti k baad kisi ko chawal item khane ki ichha hui to but your staff literally said, “iska hum kuch nahi kar skte ap abhi order de do". Please ensure that no orders are taken after 10:00 pm. Guests need at least 45 minutes to eat, decide and reorder...

Read moreI along with 5 friends went for a lunch date n Mirch Masala in Prahalad Nagar today. The décor theme of restaurant is bollywood. One can see different scenes and film stars looking from the paintings on the walls. Old filmy posters also adorn the walls. Old utensils on high wooden racks is an effort to create dhaba style setting. Food and service is good. We stayed there for almost 2.5 hrs. As we have opted for unlimited buffet meals, they served us fresh lime as welcome drink. With it, we were served padi chaat and papad spring rolls as starters. Papad spring rolls is an item. which I have eaten for the first time. Green chutney was very average. No spice and no chatpata pan. The main course was paneer, mixed veg and sry potato vegetable along with a basket of different kinds of breads - tandoori roti, nan and lachcha prantha. Rice and dal were also served with chaas. The lunch was finished with the option of choosing one dessert from three kinds of sweets - jalebi, gulab jamun and ice cream. The masala salad also need to...
