This review is for the Patel Dining at first floor of the complex. The ground floor Patel seems to be of different owner and the moment your car pulls over, waiters of both the hotels start calling out to you. The first-floor hotel has a proper dining setup with good interior and air conditioning. The toilets were a big disappointment, but considering the location it is acceptable. The staff is good and the head waiter who took our order was courteous enough. We took a dig at the main Thali menu, which came along with an extensive list of items. The buttermilk, the dal, the phulkas, the veggies etc were all served hot and unlimited. Sweets are served only once. We had gulab jamun at this time. The rice options were also good – plain rice and khichdi. Of course, we went for khichdi with a dash of ghee, which made it all the yummier. The thali was also priced decently and could be afforded by us middle-class people. All in all, a very good experience. All modes of payments are accepted here – cash, debit card, credit card and the famous online UPI system.
