We recently visited Pavilion Restaurant in the Vesu area of Surat, invited by a family friend, and had a delightful dining experience. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, providing flexibility based on your preference. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it suitable for gatherings with friends and family. 

Our meal began with the Rustic Tomato Soup, which was flavorful and set a positive tone for the courses that followed. The Pavilion Signature Crispy Roomali Roti was a standout appetizer—light, crispy, and uniquely presented. For mains, we tried the Avocado Uramaki, a delightful sushi roll that showcased the restaurant’s versatility beyond traditional Indian cuisine. The Paneer Pasanda was rich and creamy, with the paneer cooked to perfection. Overall, the food was well-prepared, offering a balance of flavors that were neither too bland nor overly spicy.

It’s worth noting that Pavilion is a pure vegetarian restaurant, catering to those who prefer meat-free dining options. The menu is diverse, featuring North Indian, Continental, Mexican, and Italian cuisines, ensuring there’s something for everyone.  

Price-wise, the restaurant leans towards the higher end, with an average cost of ₹1,000 for two people. While it may be considered a bit expensive, the quality of food and service justifies the cost, making it a worthwhile experience for special occasions. 

One of the highlights of Pavilion is its open space, which can be utilized for birthday parties or small outdoor events. The pet-friendly environment and family-friendly atmosphere add to its appeal for hosting gatherings.

Visited on a weekday evening. Wasn't much crowded and was pleasant.

The restaurant was spacious and was well maintained. Seating was also good . But I found the chairs a bit uncomfortable as the arm rest was sloping down and whenever I kept my arm on it , it kept on slipping. Nonetheless the seating was good.

Coming to the food , in starters we had Veg manchurian and Paneer Tikka. The manchurian were not like anything special. Their size was small and quantity was also less and most importantly the were quite a lot salty and were a lot dry.

I think they kind of forgot to cook paneer tikka properly as the marination was still not cooked and it tasted raw.

Then I had the 'Old Alfredo Pasta' it was good . It was cheesy but lacked a proper taste that alfredo pasta has .

Then in main course had Paneer Lahori. They told it would be kind of a bit spicy but it was too sweet. Also quantity was less.

The butter rotis were good and the best thing was that they weren't burnt and were also soft.

Then I had Hyderadbadi Biryani that was accompanied with raita . It tasted good.

Then I had Chilly Garlic Pan Tossed Noodles with Hot Garlic Sause. It was really extraordinary. It had the regular noodles that were topped with the sause and vegetables. The quantity was also good and the taste was excellent.

The service was good and the things came in quickly . The staff was also helpful. Only the noodles came very late and that too after a lot of telling.

The place is good but they can improve a lot in the food . The outside area is good and is open so you can have dinner outside . The place is also good for taking photographs as the lighting they have done is good.

The parking was also good and the place was pleasant. You can go and have food peacefully as the place is located at quite a lot distance from the main road so the disturbance...
