Pirates Voyage — Restaurant in Gujarat

We organized a party on 31st Jan, 2021 for 26 people. They provided a party package for it which has all the dishes starting from welcome drink to soup to main course till dessert. I will talk about the food first and then will comment on the remaining items like service, ambience, etc. The welcome drink, soup and starters were quite good with only 1 drawback. One of the starter was "Quesadilla" which is a Mexican dish but when served, it tasted like a mix vegetable paratha. The taste was good but it didn't tasted like a Mexican dish at all. After that we had main course wherein we had 2 sabjis' accompanied by roti/naan/paratha. The sabjis' tasted good but paratha seemed to be uncooked. After that, we had Dum Biryani but it didn't had the taste of Dum Biryani at all. It tasted more like a vegetable pulav. We complained this to the manager Mr. Shailendra Singh but he was so stubborn and that he just refused to accept their shortcomings. Now coming to the service part, it was below average. The soup was not that hot, the rotis were served late because of which the sabji became cold. The staff was always in a hurry to remove the plates and bring on new items. It felt like they wanted to make us finish ASAP. They didn't had enough man to cater to the needs of a 26 people party. The hotel is located at good location; the ambience is awesome - the variety in menu is also really good. If you are looking for a multi-cuisine then this is really a good place to visit. Only thing is that its punjabi kitchen closes at 3 PM so if you by chance visit after 2 PM then either the service will be sluggish or half of the items will not be available. When I tried making some suggestion in the order - the captain cut me even before I speak and didn't listen to me - I found it humiliating and I strongly advised to deal with customers with compassion and respect. He was only concerned for his dish which was almost ready so he did not entertain us for the alteration in order (despite of that we were ready to pay for the dish we wanted to cancel - if this situation might have been occured in Taj or Marriot then they would have taken care of customer rather than their half prepared dish) - however he apologized when he came to know that I know the management. This was second time I have been to this place and this time I had to share the feedback, even the first time it was the same. This time we were 9 people.

Zero Service: -Six glasses for water were served for 9 people. Even after asking many times we never got the missing ones. -No tissue papers were offered during t entire order. Table was not even cleaned. Manager was resisting to take order for desired menu items. Food order was taken after 40 Mins we arrived at the food table, though we requested many times. Ordered three curries with Daal Tadka but the Daal Tadka was served at the end when we were done with the food and had to asked the staff to consume it for themselves. Shift Manager/Food Manager was arrogant and unprofessional was ignoring us for any more requests. Cutlery was even not provided and we had to request multiple times after the items were served.
