Vegetarian and Jain food. One of the best punjabi restaurants in Vesu neighbourhood of Surat city in the state of Gujarat, India. The staff is very nice and cooperative. They have an open terrace seating as well where you can enjoy the view the city. It is inside a mall which also has a cinema hall called Rajhans cinemas. Punjabi food is so tasty that I went second time in my 3 day stay. It is a massive restaurant and it can accommodate even 20 - 30 people on a table. It is an ideal place to have a party , small engagement function. If they do catering I would totally call them to do it. It’s decently priced not reasonable or not very expensive. We ordered a lot of items soup, papad, curries, rotis everything was super tasty.

Don’t go late, like after 9:30 or 10 PM, for dinner because I had a bad experience regarding food quality and taste. They served on time, but the food’s taste was disappointing. It felt like I spent a lot of money on the dishes for nothing. Comparatively, you can get better-tasting food at other low-price restaurants. I went there based on Google reviews, but sometimes reviews and assumptions can go wrong.”

The Royal Maharaja Palace Multi-Cuisine Pure Veg Restaurant, Cafe & Banquet Stepping into The Royal Maharaja Palace is an experience designed to transport you. From the moment you arrive, the grand facade hints at the regal experience within, and the interiors, often adorned with traditional Indian motifs, intricate carvings, and warm lighting, live up to the name. This establishment promises a multi-cuisine pure vegetarian journey, and for the most part, it delivers. Ambiance & Atmosphere: The ambiance is undoubtedly one of its strongest suits. Whether you're in the restaurant, the cafe, or attending an event in the banquet hall, the décor consistently strives for a royal, yet comfortable, feel. The restaurant typically offers a more formal dining experience, perfect for family gatherings or special occasions, while the cafe provides a relaxed, cozier setting for a quick bite or a leisurely coffee. The banquet halls are generally spacious and well-equipped, making them suitable for weddings, corporate events, and other large celebrations. Expect clean, well-maintained spaces and a general sense of grandeur. Food & Cuisine: As a pure vegetarian establishment, The Royal Maharaja Palace takes pride in its diverse menu. You'll likely find a wide array of Indian cuisines, from rich North Indian gravies and tandoori delights to delicate South Indian specialties, and possibly even some regional Maharashtrian or Gujarati dishes. Beyond Indian, they often venture into popular international vegetarian options like Italian pastas, Chinese stir-fries, and perhaps even some continental salads or appetizers. The quality of ingredients is generally good, and the food is prepared with attention to flavor and presentation. Portions are usually generous, and there's a conscious effort to cater to various palates, from those who prefer mild flavors to spice enthusiasts. While individual dish experiences can vary, the overall culinary standard is usually commendable for a multi-cuisine pure veg restaurant. Highlights often include their paneer dishes, dal makhani, and a selection of freshly baked bread. Their cafe menu might offer a good range of snacks, sandwiches, and hot beverages. Service: The service at The Royal Maharaja Palace is typically attentive and courteous. Staff are usually well-trained, knowledgeable about the menu, and eager to assist. From welcoming you at the entrance to ensuring your dining needs are met, the service contributes positively to the overall experience. For banquet events, the coordination and efficiency of the staff are generally good, ensuring smooth proceedings. Value for Money: While not a budget-friendly option, The Royal Maharaja Palace generally offers good value for the experience it provides. The quality of food, the lavish ambiance, and the attentive service justify the slightly higher price point. It’s a place where you pay for the overall dining experience, not just the meal itself. Overall Impression: The Royal Maharaja Palace Multi-Cuisine Pure Veg Restaurant, Cafe & Banquet is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a sophisticated and satisfying pure vegetarian dining experience. It's particularly well-suited for family celebrations, formal dinners, or for those who appreciate a touch of grandeur with their meal. Whether you're looking for a leisurely dinner, a quick cafe stop, or planning a grand event, this establishment aims to deliver a memorable and enjoyable visit. It successfully combines a rich, inviting atmosphere with a diverse and well-executed pure...

The one awesome restaurant in vesu with its own Western dance theme and lights. You will feel like you're on some dance floor while having dinner !!! Continues lighting on the terrace, with a number of good beverage options in mocktails !!!

Mocktails are overpriced. Menu has so many varieties which will confuse you to choose proper food. Food delivers within the timeline of the usual restaurant timeline.

But it's not that awesome on Saturday night with us ! When we entered, a warm welcome was given by the restaurant staff. They showed us a number of good sitting areas but we chose a terrace and when we reached there, all the tables were empty. Only 2 tables were reserved.

We were 6 adults and 3 kids. We asked for a larger table for the entire family. But Mr. Nirav was so rude as to deny giving a larger table due to Saturday night and just to assume that if another large group comes then 3 of the chairs will be wasted. He literally fought with us and made long arguments. He didn't even care that he was arguing with senior citizens on the topic which was useless. After long arguments, we decided to move from the restaurant, as it was entirely empty and on his assumption if some more people came than the table which he could give us would have spare chairs. And he might have lost other large groups due to us , but It was not, the entire restaurant with terrace space was empty till the time we were there and had dinner. His arguments were totally false and too egoistic that could not make interest in other things. We never understood why he was so aggressive about his wrong thinking over 3 spare chairs.

But so far, the owner of this restaurant, Mr. Kalu bhai handled everything so easily that we melted our anger and had dinner on his request. And believe me, the food is so excellent as it shows on the menu.

Dal makhani is especially fabulous 😍. Extremely tasteful and i never tested this much good as it is. The preparation was perfectly made. The taste with its own butter which should meet with dal in combinations of perfect food.

Overall good experience, with little arguments on the wrong topic. but anyways Thanks to Mr. Kalubhai, Mr Suman, and Miss Sejal for their extreme and tremendous smiles...

⭐ Review of The Royal Maharaja Palace, Vesu, Surat

I recently visited The Royal Maharaja Palace in Vesu, Surat, and I was thoroughly impressed. Nestled in the upscale Aagam Vivianna complex, opposite the charming Florence Residency, the restaurant exudes elegance and hospitality from the moment you step in.

Ambience & Decor 🌟

The interior reflects a regal theme reminiscent of traditional Indian royalty—with ornate furnishings, warm lighting, and tasteful architectural details. The setting strikes a perfect balance between refined luxury and welcoming comfort—ideal for both celebratory dinners and relaxed outings.

Culinary Highlights 🍽️

The menu features a wide variety of north and regional Indian dishes. Each plate is meticulously prepared, with well-rounded flavors and generous portions. Signature dishes like rich gravies, aromatic biryanis, and handcrafted tandoori items stand out. Though exact pricing wasn’t listed, meals seemed very reasonable for the quality offered.

Service & Hospitality 🤵

Service here felt fitting of its name—attentive without being intrusive, courteous, and consistently professional. Staff members were helpful with menu recommendations and ensured refills and timely delivery without prompting.

Overall Value

For a mid‑priced restaurant in Surat, it strikes an excellent value-to-quality ratio. The ambience, food, and service combined deliver a memorable dining experience. Easily a go-to spot in the Vesu area for group dinners, family meals, or those craving flavor-rich Indian cuisine.

Why I recommend it:

Elegant and inviting atmosphere with royal flair

Flavorful and well-prepared menu offerings

Friendly, prompt, and courteous staff

Affordable prices that don’t compromise on quality

While online platforms like Dineout show no pending customer reviews yet , my personal experience was very positive and indicative of a restaurant that offers value, taste, and hospitality in...
