A Disappointing Dining Experience

I recently visited the Kathiyawadi restaurant UMIYA ANNAPURNA with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience left a lot to be desired. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance felt lacklustre, with outdated decor that seemed to lack any effort in creating a pleasant dining atmosphere.

The service was slow and inattentive, making the overall experience frustrating.

Now, let's talk about the food. The Kathiyawadi cuisine is known for its bold flavors and unique spices, but the dishes we tried were a far cry from authentic. The flavours were bland, and it felt like the kitchen had completely missed the mark on capturing the essence of Kathiyawadi cuisine and also the prices did not align with the quality of the food.

To add insult to injury, the hygiene standards were questionable as they serve food in patrali made of tree leafs.

In conclusion, my experience at the UMIYA ANNAPURNA restaurant was disappointing on multiple levels – from the lacklustre ambiance and slow service to the subpar food quality. I won't be returning and would advise others to explore alternative dining options...

I went there with family and trust me the service is good but the food was not at all good. I love palak paneer and i ordered the same but there was no paneer, only crushed palak was served with so much of garam masala. I ate palak with no palak puree and paneer. I ordered lacha paratha with no butter and they served rosted paratha not fried. I didn't like it at all. In Bharela bengan there were little little bengans that you can't even eat. There was a cockroach found in the food I ordered and the staff started misbehaving. Worst atmosphere ever. Not maintained hygiene properly found cockroach in food. Kitchen was also not good. Staff is also misbehaving. They don't maintain their kitchen neat and clean rats and cockroach are found in kitchen. When informed them that there is a cockroach in food staff started misbehaving.
