UPSOUTH MOTERA — Restaurant in Gujarat

UP South, 4D square, Motera, Ahmedabad. Please avoid it if you want to have a dinner/lunch type of meal with family. Extremely expensive masala dosa 180/- which has paste like masala as if the chef has done you a big favor of putting it on the dosa. Good luck if you can find any taste in it.

The malabari paratha is a big joke, as it is maida paratha (if you can call it that) stuffed with mayo and cabbage shreds. You'll be lucky if you could find a small potato/ badly deep fried patty inside it.

Mysuru bonda is a 6 balls type food, only good as a snack and not as a dinner. Mendhu vada is also two tiny pieces of vada perhaps the size of any small tea cup. Would you like to spare 100 rupees for such a dish? I wouldn't.

The sambhar is just some yellowish particulate matter with liters of water in it. The drum sticks in it are as if they are suffering polio. Taste too, is well, of salted water.

The curry lacked anything of substance, my hostel roommates could cook a better daal curry from minimal ingredients than this stupid 200 ish dish, which only reeked garam masala with loads of potato in it. Perhaps the owner is trying to empty his rotten food stocks from the lockdown, by making as much as food as possible from it.

Better go the Gwalia next door, as there is good value for money compared to this piece of disgrace place to the noble south india.

I hope some food auditor could penalize them for such ghastly food devoid of taste or any ingredients , forget about perspective.

This is a chain of restaurants serving delicious freshly prepared South Indian specialities.There are a variety of idlis and dosas accompanied with different chutneys and sambhars. The restaurant is a pure vegetarian restaurant.

You have to place the order and your order gets served at the table. It takes about 15 mins for your order to arrive. That apart we were quite happy.

The interiors have been very aesthetically decorated. The ambience is awesome and it gives a lively feeling. The cooling is also effective inside. The staff is courteous and polite. However, the sitting can be made bit.more comfortable.

Up south is really nice restaurant for South indian food. Verity of south india options with combo options arr available Combo options are unique idea of up south in South indian food, combo is good for people to test verity of south item in single dishes, combo have item like mini dosha, mini idely, chana puri, mendu vada, verity of chatny. Other than combos options are little costly compare to other south restaurant. Test of food is amazing. Verity of chantny and test is amazing. Ambious is good. Service is good.
