I ordered 2 plates of Bhatura from Bhatura Co today, and the experience was very, very disappointing. The chole had absolutely no taste — just thick, bland gravy with hardly any chole in it. The paneer inside the bhatura tasted stale and was equally flavorless. This was such a big letdown, especially because I had been so excited to try them for the first time and even bragged at home about how great their food was supposed to be. Unfortunately, the taste and quality were far from what I expected. I’ll definitely not be ordering from them again — Bhatura Co is off my repeat list.

UPDATE: "I am truly disappointed by your response. Instead of acknowledging customer feedback gracefully, you chose to be defensive and accuse me of “misguiding people.” That’s extremely unprofessional and surprising from a brand in the food service industry, where openness to feedback should be a basic value. My review was based purely on my genuine experience with the food I received — it had no intention to mislead anyone. Every customer is entitled to share their honest opinion, and dismissing it by questioning their integrity reflects very poorly on your approach to customer service. Taste may be subjective, but respect and professionalism are not. I sincerely hope you learn to value constructive criticism rather than blaming customers for sharing their experience."

2nd Update

I appreciate your reply, but I’d prefer not to get into a back-and-forth about who’s right or wrong. I’ve shared my experience honestly, just as any customer would, and I stand by what I felt at the time of my order. Having said that, I believe it’s best to rest the matter here. I truly hope this exchange serves as a reminder that feedback, whether positive or negative, is part of the service industry and should always be received in the right spirit. Wishing you well in continuing to serve your customers with sincerity...

A Flavorful Experience at Uncle Aunty's Chole Bature Cafe

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Uncle Aunty's Chole Bature Cafe, and I must say, it was a delightful experience overall. Nestled in a cozy corner of the city, this unassuming eatery managed to impress me with its authentic flavors and warm hospitality.

The star of the show, as the name suggests, is the Chole Bature. The fluffy and perfectly fried bhaturas were a treat for the taste buds. They were light, airy, and had just the right amount of crunch. Paired with the aromatic and well-spiced chole (chickpea curry), it was a match made in heaven. The combination of flavors was spot-on, and it left me craving for more.

Uncle Aunty's attention to detail and commitment to quality ingredients was evident in every bite. The chole had a rich and tangy tomato base, with the spices complementing each other perfectly. It was evident that the dish had been prepared with care and expertise. The portion size was generous, making it a hearty and satisfying meal.

Apart from the outstanding Chole Bature, the cafe also offered a few other options on the menu. I tried their Bemdi Puri Sabzi, which were crispy and filled with a flavorful potato and pea mixture. They were served piping hot and were an excellent accompaniment to the main dish. The menu could have had a bit more variety, but considering their specialty, it was...

I have been wanting to try Bhatura Company for a while and finally ordered yesterday. Truly speaking it was worth the wait.

Special Paneer Bhatura were very light and less oil on hands with refreshing feel. Channa were well cooked and above all, mildly spiced as I normally prefer with sufficient quality of Salad and pickle doused in a properly packed and sealed containers with sturdy plates and spoons.

We supplemented it with Meethi Lassi (again refreshing and rightly packed in glass bottles).

The icing on the cake was special dry fruit loaded kheer which was mildly sweet but beautifully prepared. However I could only order one set of it as by the time, placed order, they had only one packet left than four as required.

I have one small suggestion to the owners to incorporate sugar free desert and lassi in the menu too besides salted lassi. Overall a superb experience and delivery handled aptly.

Thank You owners for the great effort and wish you a great success in future with the hope that you retain standard or rather...
