I had a good time but would I go there again..? NO
My experience is based on the premium they charge for the food.
It is not a place where you will have a sense of belongingness. It's too commercial whereas cafes are supposed to be a bit more cozy/friendly/comfortable.
I went there for breakfast around 11:30 AM, no one was there at the door, no one was there to assist for a table too.
Had to ask for water after waiting for 10 mins then they gave 1 menu to 2 people, I don't understand the mentality behind it.. should one person wait while other person decide the order or another one should order for both or how it needs to be managed...!! Not sure ....
Icing on the cake was when they served spoiled and sour ketchup in 10 rs plastic bottles. I questioned him about it and he said not possible as bottles were refilled this morning only. I said, ok bring the bottle you have refilled from. He got the KISSAN 1 kg wala sachet ...I was seriously....!! They are serving 350 ka egg and using this. Anyway long story short, I asked him to put in the plate. Look at the pic attached... I don't know what they served but it wasn't that ketchup. Later on, he came up with story that guys in kitchen filled Tomato puree...!! I was like are you serious..?
Next thing what disappointed us that there wasn't any books nor any board game so it is a plain restrarant to eat.
Food was decent but peri peri fries were not upto the mark at all. The guy serving us made up with the service for rest of the time but overall experience was already spoiled.
What disappointed me that they have written so many stories on menu about this and that.... On ground their people don't know ketchup, serving etiquettes or how to attend a customer entering ... So not...
Read more"C'est la Vie" turned out to be a delightful discovery for anyone in search of a proper English breakfast experience right here in Gurgaon. I visited this charming place with my family, and our dining adventure was nothing short of superb.
First and foremost, let's talk about the food. The English breakfast at "C'est la Vie" was simply amazing. From the perfectly cooked eggs to the crispy bacon and the deliciously grilled tomatoes, every element on the plate was spot-on. The sausages were especially tasty, and the toast was just the right amount of crispy. It felt like a slice of England right here in Gurgaon.
Now, the staff, and in particular, Raj, deserves a special mention. The service was impeccable. Raj and the rest of the team were not only friendly but also incredibly attentive. They made us feel right at home, which added a personal touch to our dining experience.

Read moreBeen to this restaurant just because I had a good opinion of the same one when it used to be in Nirvana Courtyard. That's a mistake. Will never visit and neither recommend anyone to visit. The management and the chef have changed altogether and the quality of the place with it. The edge of this place used to be grilled basa with accompaniments. Another used to be soup served in sour dough bread. The current chef or even the boss (yes, in deed we spoke to the boss, thinking the chef must be new) have a clue about it. The food offered is less than mediocre for the brand and pricing. The chef doesn't know what he was offering. The quality of food on streets is much better than the food served here. We tried a chicken lovers pizza (was soggy and tasteless) and lemon fish (best effort to save the fish and fill the dish with useless condiments). Didn't have heart to check anything else. Moreover, the whole place was full of house flies. After we complained, a electric bat wielding waiter appeared and tried to fight the evil flies. After the food is served, the fight was still on. Pathetic hygiene and cleanliness. We had to get out of that place without even finishing our food. Boss on next table doing his business deals and blurting to someone on ground floor some instructions to handover stuff..amidst the restaurant. Pathetic behaviour and show of hospitality. Swore ourselves never to go to that floor again. Better alternatives of this genre of food nearby - Cafe Delhi Heights, Viet Nom, Pizza Express, petite pie shop,...
