Cafe Delhi Heights — Restaurant in Gurugram District

I had visited cafe delhi heights in sector 18, noida in 2015. Had a very bad experience with the staffs there. But hoping situation to be different i tried cafe delhi heights in ardee mall yesterday. To begin with it was good as ambience is good there.

We ordered Galouti kebab- 3 star (portion size was small, taste was ok)

Hakka Noodles- Had ordered plain noodles for my 2 year old, they chilly garlic. When i asked them to get another one they brought the same noodles in another bowl claiming it doesnt have when chilly flakes were visible on the noodles. After 1-2 min discussion they agreed and got my kid plain hakka noodles (Experience had gone bad here).

Hot Chocolate-I would give it negative stars. Very little chocolate flavor,it was just water with vanilla essence. I asked them thicken it but even the second version was not good. We didn't have time or energy to send it for 3rd time. What a waste. We couldn't finish it, it was so bad.

At the end when i asked for removing the service charge, they asked for name and number. When i asked the reason , they said they need it for records which didn't make sense, we have never shared number for getting service charge removed.

Service- Its poor, they respond as per their convenience and to get your request fulfilled you need to ask for atleast 3-4 times.

Overall a spoiled Christmas experience. For sure next visit to any other cafe delhi heights is going to be even longer than the last gap(which...

I visited Cafe Delhi Heights in Ardee Shopping mall in Gurgaon. I was pleasantly impressed by the warm and welcoming English pub style decor. The first impression was that of entering a lounge cafe with wooden chairs and tables on one side and small lounges separated by curtains on the other. Their menu is interesting and includes a wide selection of continental dishes. However, I only ordered a caffe mocha which was pleasantly accompanied by a basket of bread (free) and three biscuits included in the price. Two jeera cookies and a small meringue. Served in a small glass jar instead of the usual plate. The mocha coffee was great and at my request they added more coffee and less chocolate. For the first time at CDD, I had bad quality food.

I ordered Palak Patta chaat and to my dismay, the palak patta were hard to break from my teeth and then to chew. Generally, these are very very crispy and break easily when even picking from the plate.

I asked for Chef and i explained the issues with above dish. He said that might be the batter used to fry palak patta got thick and he went back stating that he would correct the dish but even the second serving had the ditto issue. I had to return the dish back.

We also ordered Navratra thaali which was absolutely without any taste. The presentation carries 10 out of 10 for the thaali but taste wise it was worth 2 or may be 3 out of 10.
