We often visit Qutub plaza tower branch. This time we planned to visit this one as it's nearby our place. The waiter who was taking our order seemed to be absolutely uninterested. I told him dahi kebab as a starter which he completely missed and I too missed checking when he was repeating the order. Since it was my mistake as well so I forgave. But when we inquired about starter after main course started coming and realised it was mutual mistake. He asked shud I add. And I said yes and still he didn't paid attention. And I realised this since all dishes came but starter never came. Then I asked the manager and the waiter was also there. Then waiter again asked that do u want to add. I mean what kind of service is that? When I had already said yes before then why I have to again ensure the things. It was not a busy hectic day in the restaurant. There were decent number of people which that waiter was managing. Not sure why was he so much out of the place.
After our packed food came, we were waiting for the bill. But since it was taking longer time, we ourselves went to the counter. My husband found 60 rupees charged unnecessarily. The waiter has the audacity to charge us incorrectly without even checking whether we consumed mineral water or not.
I understood that the waiter is clearly in revenge mode since his manager scold him after i complained about dahi kebab. And it was really very embarrassing that we had to cross check the calculation done by them. Not just 60 and there was 5 rupees extra too wrongly charged. These r very small amount but the point is why such ethics r lost from such a wonderful chain who provides awesome food.
We were very tired and hungry when we came to this restaurant. It was a very long day for us. Unfortunately there service just ruined the taste we had.
I will never ever in my life visit this branch. Instead I will always go to the other branch only even though it costs...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDana Choga at Atul Kataria Chowk, Gurgaon, offers a delightful dining experience with its warm ambiance, courteous staff, and consistently delicious food. The restaurant strikes a perfect balance between comfort and elegance, making it ideal for both family outings, office lunches, and casual dinners with friends. Their North Indian and Mughlai offerings, like the Paneer Tikka Laungdar, Chicken Lababdar, and the signature Dal Dana Choga, are rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and served in generous portions that justify the pricing. Each dish is well-prepared, using fresh ingredients, and the flavors are balancedānot too oily or spicy, but full of authentic taste.
What stands out even more is the quality of service. From the moment you enter, the staff greets you with a warm smile and guides you to your table. They are attentive but not intrusive, quick to respond to requests, and are knowledgeable about the menu. I was impressed with how well they handled peak hoursāthere was a short wait, but they managed it efficiently and even offered water and a menu while we waited. The food arrived hot and fresh, and we were never left waiting for long.
The ambiance of the restaurant adds to the charm. With soothing lighting, comfortable seating, and clean, minimalist decor, the place offers a calm atmosphere amidst the busy Gurgaon traffic. Hygiene is clearly a priority hereātables are cleaned immediately, utensils are spotless, and even the washrooms are well-maintained.
Dana Choga also offers convenient takeout and delivery services, which Iāve used multiple times. The packaging is neat and spill-proof, and the food retains its quality even when delivered.
All in all, Dana Choga is not just a restaurantāitās an experience that blends taste, service, and ambiance perfectly. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy flavorful, hygienic, and comforting North Indian...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually restrict myself from bad reviews, but this time it had shot up so high that this one needs to come up to here. I took my family to sector 14 restaurant for my marriage anniversary dinner. We went there at 7.30 pm and we were the first ones to reach there. We had ordered a veg soup bowl 1 by 2 for my father, immediately after the soup was served in two bowls, i could see flies stuck to the rim of the bowl. I had politely shown this to the server, since more guests have settled on other tables. The server took it back to the kitchen. We kept waiting for other bowl to come till the main course was served. Eventually we gave up on that. Finally when the bill came, I had to mention this to the waiter that we haven't received our other portion of soup, whereas we were charged for full portion that too which had flies in it. I was countered by the waiter and he questioned to confirm if we had got the other portion or not, he was unaware that we haven't got what we had ordered for till the end of this meal. I had requested him to make changes in the bill accordingly. He came back after more than 15 minutes with deduction, which was calculated wrong. I was with two senior citizens and two toddlers, waiting again for correction in the bill none of them had patience to wait, but we did since we had no other way out. I had not escalated the issue right then and there since by this time the restaurant was full with other guests. I didn't want to create a scene for the staff and other guests. I had paid the bill without mentioning the error. Eventually i had tried to use the QR code to submit the feedback which was fixed on our table. Sadly the QR code was scratched so it could not be scanned. I had really bad experience with Dana Choga. It had fallen down on my preference list of...
