Moti Mahal Delux Tandoori Trail Gurugram Sector - 14 — Restaurant in Gurugram District

We recently visited this restaurant for a family lunch, booking a table for 15 people. Unfortunately, the entire experience was extremely disappointing.

First, the food was merely average and did not meet the standards we expected based on the price we paid. However, the real problem was the unacceptable service. Despite paying on a per-plate basis, the staff acted as though they were doing us a favor by serving us the food we had already agreed upon. They were reluctant to provide basic portions, and we had to repeatedly ask for dishes to be served properly. It felt as if they were intentionally trying to cut costs at every opportunity.

The lack of basic etiquette was also shocking. We had to request water multiple times before it was served, and the overall attention to customer service was poor. The staff seemed indifferent, and there was a complete lack of hospitality. Simple gestures, like checking on whether we needed anything or serving dishes promptly, were missing.

The situation escalated when we approached the manager to address our concerns. Instead of listening and attempting to resolve the issues, he became defensive and rude. To our astonishment, he mentioned the presence of cameras, as if implying that we were somehow in the wrong or exaggerating our complaints. This attitude was not only unprofessional but also deeply disrespectful, especially considering we had family guests with us who were equally disappointed.

Overall, the lack of service, poor attitude, and disrespectful treatment left a very negative impression. What should have been a pleasant family lunch turned into a frustrating experience. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who values good service and basic...

The ambience and food is really good but there are few points to be taken as suggestion. I visited first time alone two weeks back,there was house fly flying around while having lunch,on asking for serving food was served and after plate became empty no one came to ask for next part. The restaurant has a capacity of around 120 packs + and has one single set male and female washroom with no handwash options if both the washroom are occupied,if a washbasin is installed at the available space just outside the washroom it would be of great help as the restaurant do not provide handwash bowl or wet wipes either and also the male washroom is always occupied by the staff of the restaurant itself. After food mouth freshner was not offered with the bill.

Second visit one week back with family,service was same as above with no change,service was again same no one came to ask for serving after first serve,but this time moth freshner was offered with the bill. Specially came to have Kalmi Kabab one of the speciality which was not available and I was disheartened but can manage,food was again good as usual satisfied, although the housefly was again present.

My humble request to train the staff to serve better,hope to see full menu availability,either washbasin for handwash or finger bowl or wet wipes should be arranged.Even with the UV lamp installed at the entrance housefly is still roaming so that should be addressed as hygien is the bare minimum thing expected from such a famous restaurant.
