AWFUL EXPERIENCE. CHEATS.

I ordered a personalised cake worth 1500 for my brother's birthday after getting a recommendation through a colleague. Due to certain circumstances, i needed the cake earlier than expected . Since the cake couldn't be made in a rush , i opted instead to buy 2 cakes which were already available at the store costing 1100. I was told by the owner that instead of refunding the 400 he owed me back , he'd give me this credit slip which i can use within a month to buy anything else. Since i was already in a rush , i didn't argue and accepted in good faith. Few weeks later today , i had a special occasion at home and remembered about the credit we had left at the bakery. After visiting and choosing the items we needed , we provided the owner with a photograph of the slip. I often misplace small slips and the ink usually ends up drying out within a week so i thought this would be the perfect solution to safely keep it. The owner flat out refused to accept the credit which he provided to me giving excuses that someone else might do the same by showing the same picture. He accepted that he recognises me from when i made the initial purchase. He stated he doesn't know my brother but he knew me. But isn't willing to provide any products which i had already paid for in advance. He became aggressive in composure and tried to come closer to our personal space just to hassle us over 400 rupees. We ended up not buying anything and left to get the pastries we needed from the nearest theobroma , which honestly cost us much more but at least the owner was kind and polite. I'd advice anyone reading this to not give business to such cheats . Incase you do , make sure you never pay in advance....

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the cakes I recently ordered for my daughter's birthday celebration. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations. Firstly, the quality of both cakes was subpar. The fondant cake, which was supposed to be a highlight of the celebration, had issues in both taste and presentation. To my disappointment, I discovered a significant flaw in the finishing—there was visible dust and even a hair particle embedded in the fondant of one of the cakes. This not only compromised the aesthetics but also raised concerns about hygiene and food safety. Moreover, the mango cake, which should have been a delightful treat for our guests, turned out to be stale. It lacked the freshness and flavor that one would expect from a premium bakery such as Eclair's. This was particularly disheartening as it affected the overall enjoyment of the celebration. Additionally, I must express my dissatisfaction with the manner in which my feedback was received. Denise, Instead of acknowledging the shortcomings and addressing them constructively, she appeared more interested in defending the bakery's reputation. As a customer, I expect a more empathetic and proactive approach towards resolving concerns. I want to emphasize that this experience has left me deeply unsatisfied, especially considering the importance of the occasion—the celebration of my daughter's birthday. For my son's third birthday, the cake was to be among the star attractions. Three bakeries refused me as the theme was original and offbeat, we wanted a machine cake. Enter Denise!

She and I hit it off right from the start, when she agreed to try something new. She was accomodative plus honest, telling me she was yet to come up with a design. Then she did, and how!

The cake had all the machines and gadgets my son loves, plus she added her own. It was soft, made of buttercream and relatively less toxic colours, with just the machines in fondant. She had come highly recommended from a friend and I could see why.

We had also ordered a Unicorn cake the previous evening, which she kept appropriately subtle. It came on time, with clear instructions as to storage, and I'm adding another star for communication here for Denise was always available and approachable.

I have definitely found a cake designer for keeps, even though I'm based out of Delhi not Gurgaon. She did not even bug me for a review, which is why this one came all long and flowery and fully satisfied :)
