I recently ordered a birthday cake for my son’s first birthday celebration and I have to say, I was absolutely thrilled with the result. The cake exceeded all my expectations.

First and foremost, the flavor of the cake was phenomenal. It was a chocolate truffle cake with buttercream frosting, but it was far from ordinary. The cake was moist, light and fluffy, and the frosting was just the right amount of sweetness. The flavor was perfectly balanced and everyone at the party raved about how delicious it was.

The presentation of the cake was also impressive. Carol did an amazing job with the decorations and it was clear that she paid close attention to detail. The decorations on top were arranged in a way that was both festive and elegant.

In terms of service, she was fantastic. The ordering process was easy and stress-free, and the cake was delivered right on time. She handled the cake with care and instructed about the hardness / softness and the imported colouring agents used.

While the price of the cake was on the higher side, it was definitely worth it for the quality and taste.

I wanted to get a cake made with a very specific design for a birthday and I reached out to Carol from Planet of Bakes and it was the best decision ever.

It was really nice speaking to Carol who in detail understood my requirements and also told me about the extensive list of cakes she is good at baking.

Talking about the cake quality. Oh my!!!! I had ordered a Rich chocolate cake and it was just sooooo delicious that I don't have words to describe it. The layers of chocolate, the texture, the taste, the flavour.... everything was just perfect. The best part was that we kept relishing the cake for a week as there was lots of it but it stayed just the way it was in the beginning. Obviously we refrigerated it, but even after that it maintained the taste, texture and flavour.

The presentation and packaging was also top-notch.
