Green House - The Beer Garden — Restaurant in Gurugram District

Generally one doesent assosiate Eros City Mall with a Beer Garden or a Beer Place and I had no clue that such a place exists when I was forced to attend a small gathering there by my friends who live in Sohna Road...At the first look you will never be able to tell that on a semi occupied Mall like this on the 2nd Floor houses such an Amazing Place which is probably best for Beer and Snacks with friends !!

Brewery at this side of the Town that's so popular for it's Ambience, Music, Service and Vibe that I was totally shocked...the whole rooftop was covered in the Green House Theme with A Huge Indoors as well as Limited Outdoor seating...Since we were a batch of 3 people and 2 of which smoked we chose the Outside seating for a change since even the temperature seems dropping and bearable to sit outside nowadays...

My friends somehow knew that this place has a Butter Popcorn option that is very popular as Chakhna with Lager Beer here on Tap so we had about 4 portions of it to enjoy with beer and also cause it's a VFM Value for Money Chakhna it's easy on the Pocket too...Also we ate their famous Garlic Bread with 3 seperate types of Cheese...again a VFM Chakhna and super duper Tasty here...

For Starters we ordered Chicken Tikka which was super Tasty and I mean it...large chunks of boneless tender Chicken marinated and full of Indian Masalas total rocked on our plates and I make it my MUST TRY here...Then we ordered Mutton Burrah which was Okayish and needed some improvement as it was Dry and less on Taste a little...My friend ordered a Smoked Chicken Salad if I remembered and we all forced on it too, totally fresh and yummy it was....Since we were super hungry after Our Lager Beers we opted for the Batter Fried Fish Fingers with Fries, I thought they were decent only they could have made it finger sized rather they had 3 large chunks of Fish with French Fries while taste wise they were perfect....Lastly we ordered a Mezze Platter Veg (Lebanese Falafel) and someone ordered Dahi Kebabs which was un necessary if you ask me lol...The Mezze Platter was Good according to me it was just that the Dip or Hummus lacked some strong Garlic and Flavours rest it was made well while Dahi Kebabs were too Big to Eat very big pieces and a lot of Sugar for me inside them...I wished they were smaller bite sized and more flavorful would be great...we enjoyed all of this with 2-3 rounds of On the Tap Freshly Brewed Lager Beer and it was Yummy !!

Since one of our Veggie friends was still hungry as we had more Non Veg Snacks then Veg he ordered a Kadhai Paneer platter and White Sauce pasta...While White sauce pasta was good and Tasty but I have had better elsewhere while the Kadhai Paneer Platter was Tasty that came with A Dal Makhani portion that was Yummy absolutely and 2 Paranthas onn the side it was Yummy and MUST TRY too in case you are Hungry and want to try a little Main Course Item easy on your Stomach and Wallet too !!

Out and Out a Clear Winner that I was not expecting In Sohna Road but honestly it was so Popular that there was 100% occupied on a Thursday Night by 10 o clock...I was Absolutely Stunned and Happy that I came to the Right place thanks to my friends !! In this blog post, I cover Green House - The Beer Garden, a microbrewery nestled inside the busy Eros City Square Mall, Sector 49, Gurugram.

Quite honestly, I'm still not sold out on the idea of eating out at a restaurant since the pandemic is anything but over. That said, there is lil comfort in knowing that most restaurants are following minimum safety protocols at least and the outlets as such are not as crowded on weekends or holidays as they used to be.

This weekend we decided to dine at a microbrewery in the heart of Sector 49, Gurugram by the name of Green House - The Beer Garden. The brewpub is the brainchild of restaurateur Harsh Yadav, Founder and Managing Director since December 2017.

For five years, customers have been thronging the place to taste freshly brewed beers. Yours truly visited to try their fine selection of Indian, Continental, and Oriental delicacies.

Located on the second floor of the Eros City Square Mall, the brewpub is easy to locate from the main entrance of the mall and can be accessed by both stairs and elevators.

My first impression about the property was how massive it was; the main floor can easily accommodate up to 180 covers on a busy day. Customers have the option to dine indoors or outdoors depending on their preference.

The plush wooden interiors are unconventional yet contemporary and go well with the 'Go Green' theme of the restaurant.

Just so you know they brew three types of beers and you can even sample beers before placing an order. If you're not a beer person, they have a fully-stocked bar section with a nice ensemble of cocktails or mocktails.

Another highlight about the ambiance is that they have two large TV screens that play popular Western music videos, a retractable roof that opens whenever feasible, a separate smoking cabin, and a stage for entertaining live music.

With Chef Ashok Bhandari at the helm of affairs inside the kitchen, you're definitely in safe hands. The big question is: what should you order? Choose from a variety of options I'd say. The Peri Peri Pizza is a 12" thin crust pizza, perfect for at least four people. Other favorites include the Chicken Sizzler and Corn and Cheese Nuggets.

Pair these delectable small bites with some cool summery mocktails such as the Jerry Guava, Chili Cucumbertino, and Berry Cooler. Try the Strawberry Daiquiri if you're in the mood for vodka-based cocktails instead. That's what I ordered!

For mains, you can go for the Diced Chicken with Schezwan sauce and fried rice. If you want to order Indian, Kadai Paneer and Garlic Naan would leave you wanting more!

Indulge in sweet decadence by ordering the Chocolate Lasagna. This would provide the perfect ending to your excellent culinary experience.

Went to this amazing place this Friday with my friends for lunch. The place is located at eros city square mall, Sector 49, Gurugram and hence nearest station being huda city center 🚉.

The restaurant is located on the second floor and they have a large seating area, entrance is classy as you would see furniture in white and a lot of pots and greenery giving it a feel of a luxurious and cozy place🔥.

Inside the restaurant you would see a dedicated bar area with lots of varieties in cocktails and mocktails. The seating area is huge, you could get yourself a window dining table and ask the server to pull up the curtains for a better view of the outside 🕶️⛰️. The place is really amazing from the inside as it is decorated with wall hangings and amazing accessories ✔️.

Coming to the items we ordered : -Basket of French fries : this was just perfectly crisp and had the right amount of salt sprinkled served with the dip.

-Drums of heaven: chicken leg pieces marinated in chinese sauce they were really amazing in taste 😋.

-Dahi ke sholay: i have never liked this particular item at any restaurant before trying it here, it was filled with stuffing of paneer, dahi and masala, perfect crunch from the outside. This is something i would really recommend 👌in starters.

-Chef special cottage cheese sizzler : the sizzler was simply outstanding, we felt as if the paneer was just freshly bought to prepare this, quantity and taste both were amazing ✔️.

-Tawa chicken : A main course dish, big chunks of boneless chicken marinated and cooked in a spicy masala and served with tandoori roti was my favorite in terms of flavors simply because i prefer my food to be a little spicy then normal. This is a great tasting dish✔️.

-Dimer chop : i really loved the concept of this item, never seen anything like this before, boiled eggs inside a fried shell made up of potato and onion, i was skeptical about it's taste but it blended so well and tasted amazing 😋.

In drinks:

Jerry guava: this tasted so refreshing and amazing.

Berry coolers: i really loved its presentation and its flavourful taste.

Pineapple ginger beer : This drink had the amazing fizz that compliments with the starters 👌.

At last we had Banoffee pie which we finished under 2 mins, it was that good and fresh. We loved this dessert 🍰.

All in all we had an amazing time, i would also like to add that our servers were very helpful and suggestive about the various items, and all of their suggestion of food items were amazing in taste and quantity. It's a lovely and lively place with amazing music...
