Established in 2012, Hamoni Golf is one of the only two reasons why I would ever cross the NH48 and go from the so called planned Gurgaon to the old part of Gurgaon. The other reason I would cross it is for the Speakeasy in Sec-15.
This review is just for their food offering. I doubt my review would be any different if I included the golf aspect as well given that I suck at golf so as an a proud Indian man, I would blame my underperformance on anything but myself!
The cafe takes a while to reach. Two roads diverged into the leftover Gurgaon woods and they both led to Hamoni, I took the one less travelled but as it turns out that road is barely a road! Where is Gurgaon thuggery when you really need it? Sidha road kaat do na diametrically opposite to your current entry ya!
Anyway, once you get over that, the entry itself and the area looked pretty good in the night. There is ample parking and a nice walkable path for when the weather is right for it. Did I walk? No. Because I think walking after eating dinner is tauheen for the food you just ate. Let it rest, ya!
We went there for dinner and you just know the crowd/price point their restaurant caters to as soon as I saw two people within 30 seconds of us entering wearing co-ord sets.
Ordered their Olive Oil Tandoori Chicken, Ultimate Chicken Sando, Strawberry and Rosemary Lemonade. First off, their menu is like me in grade 7 (actually 6-7, ummmm…fine my entire school life)…very chunky and clearly trying to compensate for a lack of good food. It is long long. It is as big as the dating apps height of most Indian men!
We received the Chicken Sando first and it came with a side of fries. It sucked would be an understatement. It was like a Dyson vacuum cleaner! It sucked so hard. The fries were undercooked and under salted. The sando would be perfect in a game of Among Us, it was an imposter, but still be bad at it. A sando is supposed to have no crust. No clue what weird bread they used and shredded chicken? Seriously? The dip they used was for sure Hari chutney. I know the taste of Hari chutney when I have it. At this point, just call it what it is, an Indian chicken sandwich. I am already at the cafe, you do not have to oversell me with lies ya!
The Tandoori Chicken was good but it is hard to get it wrong. The meat was like my young years, tender. The Hari chutney with onion was given with this dish also which made sense because it did belong there. After a point, when the chutney was finished, I just dipped the chicken in the sandwich bread and that tasted exactly the same!
The lemonade was okayish. 7/10. Yes, when I have nothing to add I throw numbers as ratings. This is also me at my workplace!
The service is prompt and courteous so there are positives to be taken but they really would be better off with a smaller menu that is stress tested. You cannot cater to everyone. I understand that their morning/afternoon revenue would come from golf enthusiasts and then the latter half of the day usually caters to families in the area but there are things that can be optimised. Would love to try again...

This place was recommended by a friend a few weeks back & got a chance to visit this beautiful cafe located in a golf club in Gurgaon with my family!
⭐ Best Visiting hours - 11 AM - 5 PM
⭐ Best season to visit - Winters! The outdoor seating, adjoining a huge golf course, is killer and perfect to get sunkissed in this season!
The indoor seating is classy as well. The walls are adorned with golf sticks, souvenirs, caps etc and the giant French windows add to the aesthetics. It took me a while to observe everything around as every inch of the cafe is immersed in beauty!
The food was awesome as well. Here are some of my recommendations -
🔥 3 Egg Masala Omelette served with golden crisp toasts, delectable hash browns & roasted tomatoes.
🔥 Hamoni Veg Burger - The patty was made of beetroot and chickpea falafel, layered with really flavourful pickled veggies, feta cheese and served with fries and coleslaw. I loved the fries too. Had them after months!
🔥 Beetroot and Chickpea Falafels - The patty in the burger were made of this and we couldn't resist having the whole dish! Served with hummus, I would Highly Recommended you to start your meal with this one!
🔥 Penne Pasta in Alfredo Sauce - just the way I like my pastas! The amount of veggies was perfect and the flavours were so apt that I didn't add any seasoning on the pasta. The bread rolls served along with it looked like croissants and tasted very fresh!
🔥 Cold Coffee and Cappuccino - Both were freshly brewed and the quality of beans used seemed top notch! Repeated the cold coffee!
I love such quaint and picturesque cafes and to visit here again with different groups of friends, cousins etc!
The service was exceptionally good and the stewads were managing both outdoor and indoor seating promptly and with a lot of dedication! Prashant assisted us and full marks for his service!

Read moreHamoni in Gurgaon is a hidden gem for anyone seeking a cozy and delightful dining experience. I started with their Mezze Platter, which was beautifully presented with fresh, flavorful ingredients—the hummus was creamy, and each bite had a wonderful mix of textures. The Spinach and Charred Corn Pizza was another standout; the crust was perfectly thin and crispy, topped with fresh spinach and deliciously charred corn that brought a smoky flavor, balanced by a light cheese layer. We also tried their Indonesian Noodles, Veg Pizza, Burrata Pasta, and Veg Fried Rice.
The Indonesian Noodles and Burrata Pasta stood out — both were packed with rich flavors and perfectly cooked. The noodles had an authentic, mildly spicy taste with great texture, while the pasta was creamy, fresh, and indulgent with a beautiful balance of burrata and sauce.
And the hot chocolate? Simply divine. Hot chocolate is an absolute must-try! It’s served with a perfect blend of rich, dark chocolate, tasting like a luxurious molten treat in a cup. Each sip is a delight with a creamy, deep cocoa flavor that’s not overly sweet, just how a true hot chocolate should be. The addition of marshmallows adds a fun touch, melting just enough to give that extra creamy texture. If you’re a fan of dark chocolate, this drink is pure heaven and feels like a warm hug. Highly recommended for chocolate lovers!
The ambience here is warm and inviting, with a relaxed vibe that makes it ideal for unwinding with friends. Hamoni also offers an impressive selection of Asian and continental dishes, so there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re in the mood for comfort food or exploring new flavours, Hamoni is the place to...
