My Secret Place should remain a Secret only. Pathetic service of the highest order.
They have an attached bar which was blasting music on a Saturday night- fair enough given that it’s a bar and that’s a vibe you expect for that side of the restaurant. However, there’s a door separating the ambience and vibes of the secret place from the Bar side. Now this door needs to be opened every now and then by waiters and guests alike. Understandable. But the waiters were never seeking to shut the door behind themselves and the loud music of the other side would penetrate and ruin the tranquility of this side of the restaurant. When a customer decides to come to a restaurant, it is based, in part, on the vibes that it has. I came expecting a cafe in order to get work done. Moreover, i myself shut the door multiple times and even brought it to waiters and service bearers notice- I even called the manager- Mr Amit Kumar (if that is even his real name). Despite telling them, they didn’t do much to solve the issue. They said it’s Saturday night and this is how we run it. What was surprising in all of their response, was a lack of respect and heed paid to the customer’s pain point. Even if the issue isn’t solvable, there’s an attitude with which you seek to relieve the customer’s issue. I did not ask to reduce the volume, nor did I ask to stop the flow of people coming and going. I simply asked them to be cognizant of closing the door behind them whenever they come and go. THAT WAS IT. When I spoke to Amit Kumar (supposed manager), all he could say was I can’t change things due to one customer. Buddy, is closing the door behind you that big of a change?
When I said I will leave a Google review, they got scared and started acting humble. So sad and pathetic. They even tried one final lack lustre save-attempt by asking me to fill the review in the physical feedback form. What a shame.
I hope it’s a lesson for the owner to pay heed to customer pain points and TRAIN your managers and waiters in BASIC etiquettes of the hospitality industry.
While I’m at it, I might as well comment on the food as a final cherry on the top. The club sandwiches were dry as a desert with it scraping the roof of your palate. For waiters and managers to have so much attitude, you’d think they served better food. But NOPE. Food is mid.
Money truly can’t buy class and the secret place is proof of that. Restaurant can be put up by anyone with enough capital, the feeling of hospitality, however, is built with heart, humility, and respect- none of which My Secret Place seems to possess. Keep your secrets, I’m never...

The live music, color scheme, lighting was good. Sharing what was NOT good based on which I've given 1 rating:
We got in and sat on the sofa as it was quite comfortable. The attendant came to us and asked us to sit on the other side as this table was supposedly booked. As per his request, we sat on the other side. But well, nobody sat on that table (We were there for 2.5 hours). It was empty, yet not offered to us.
Disappointed.

A perfect little spot if you’re looking for peace and quiet, whether it’s to enjoy a coffee chat or even sip on a glass of whiskey. The place has two distinct settings — a beautiful, serene gallery area that’s calm and pretty, and an indoor bar with screens where you can watch matches with drinks and light music in the background.
I originally went just for coffee, but I must say I’ve become a fan of their Alfredo pasta. The food is genuinely good and worth trying, though I did find the menu a little limited when I visited with my siblings around 9:30 PM (maybe because it was late). For example, hot mocha wasn’t available, but it wasn’t a big deal.
The staff deserves a special mention — polite, professional, and attentive. I had ordered spaghetti pasta but was served penne due to a mix-up. The staff immediately offered to replace it with spaghetti, but since I was hungry, I kept the penne — and it turned out to be delicious anyway.
You can easily pay via Swiggy Dineout, and it’s quite pocket-friendly, making it a great spot to chill with your gang. Overall, I loved the service, the food, and the vibe. I’m definitely coming back after Navratri to try their non-veg options too.
