OM Sweets private limited — Restaurant in Gurugram District

Om Sweets in New Colony is one of the most popular places for sweets and vegetarian snacks in the area. I’ve visited a few times and overall, it has been a good experience.

The sweet section is excellent. Items like dhoda barfi, rasmalai, jalebi, and ghewar are fresh and tasty. Their dhoda barfi especially is a must-try – soft, rich, and full of flavor. They have a huge variety of traditional Indian sweets that are perfect for festivals or gifting.

Apart from sweets, the snacks and food are also good. I’ve tried their chole bhature, raj kachori, and South Indian dishes like dosa – all were tasty and filling. The golgappas are fresh and served with good hygiene. The food tastes homely and not too oily or spicy, which is nice for family outings.

The restaurant is neat and clean. The staff is polite and the service is mostly quick. However, during weekends or festivals, it gets a bit crowded, and service can slow down.

There is space to sit and eat, and they also offer take-away and party packs. The prices are reasonable for the quality. Only downside is parking – the area around the shop can be a little crowded, so finding space for your vehicle can be tricky.

Terrible Customer Service – Avoid!

I am giving a low rating due to Om Sweets' absolutely pathetic customer service. They delivered a package that was completely spilled due to poor packing. Instead of asking for a refund, I placed a fresh order and specifically requested an adequate amount of ras in the Rasmalai. However, the person who answered my call was incredibly rude and treated me with utter disrespect, as if I was doing them a favor by ordering.

This isn’t the first bad experience either. Previously, they sent a sweet package that tasted burnt. I ignored it, thinking mistakes happen. But this latest experience was the final straw. If Om Sweets wants to retain customers, they should immediately replace such arrogant and unprofessional staff. Frankly, that person is better suited for cleaning duty than customer interactions.

I went for Dinner with My family at om Sweets new colony.

Firstly we had Pav bhaji,South Indian platter,French Fries, Spring Roll.The Pav bhaji was much better & was really good in taste.They need more improvement in South Indian platter as it was average in taste.

Then we ordered Noodles,Chilly potato,Malai soya chaap & Paneer tikka. The Paneer tikka was really pathetic in taste & soya chaap was also not worth eating.

Atlast we ordered main course- Dal Makhani & Tandoori Butter roti.Both these were good in taste.
