Tosh by Captain's Cafe — Restaurant in Gwalior

This was a good place with regards to the city like gwalior where this type of rooftop cafe are not a common thing , but if you compare with a proper rooftop cafe bar there were some flaws in this like it was conjusted due to the little space , as well as there service is slow regarding serving of main course secondally which I found a little odd that they don't serve normal water instead of that you need to buy a packed water bottle of mrp 10 for 25 rs.... Plus with drinks there was no proper ice bucket as they served ice in another whisky glass, it could be because I visited on Saturday but they also didn't served any complimentary chakhna which a bar usually serves ,anways some food items were very good which I tried like chilly potato, but when we ordered our main course it was late by almost half an hour but the person who was attending us was very generous, we ordered kadhai paneer and dal tadaka ( without garlic) but they given us dalfry that to without any tomatoes, onion tadka but the waiter has waived off this dal in that bill and also offered us a vanilla ice cream scoop , the kadhai paneer was so so and the quantity for crispy corn was very less as compared to the prices and the platter of chesse cottage was not that much great but the overall vibe was good also one thing they didn't allowed us to order one single beer they told you need to buy two glasses of beer , that's pretty odd ... It is a nice place with good food. I tried their Dahi Kebab, Crunchy Corn and Masala Papad and they were all tasty. The drinks are also well made and decently priced. It is less occupied in the day and the staff tries to accommodate your requests which is very sweet. The ambience is also nice especially outside in the winters. Good place to hangout with friends if it fits your budget.
