Disappointing Experience at Bikanervala in Haldwani

I recently revisited Bikanervala in Haldwani, and unfortunately, I had an extremely disappointing experience with their food. As a result, I am downgrading my previous rating from 4 stars to 1 star.

The quality of the food I received during my visit was beyond description. It was tasteless, lacking any flavor, and served cold. The dishes seemed to have absolutely no salt, making them almost inedible. It was truly disheartening to have such a poor dining experience.

After expressing my concerns to the manager, I requested that he personally taste the food we had ordered. I must say, the manager was sympathetic and understanding. After tasting the dishes himself, he immediately instructed his staff to remove the prepared food that was clearly not up to the standard of being served. While I appreciate the manager's response, it was disconcerting that such subpar food was served in the first place.

Considering my recent experience, I must warn others to dine at their own risk. The lack of quality in the food served was truly disappointing, and I would advise potential customers to think twice before visiting Bikanervala in Haldwani.

On a positive note, I would like to mention that the parking situation at the restaurant was still manageable, and I did not encounter any issues in that regard.

Overall, my recent visit to Bikanervala in Haldwani left me thoroughly dissatisfied. The tasteless, saltless, and cold food, coupled with the need for the manager to intervene, has led me to write this review. First taking about location and ambience.

It's located near Haldwani's major market area and just beside the market parking, so no issue and reach and space for parking.

It's has a calm ambience and it's spacious enough to never give a sense of rush.

I have never had any full meal (lunch or dinner) at any Bikanerwala, but the snacks never seem to disappoint at any outlet. They preparation is pretty good whichever snack you order.

Service is of type self-serve for snacks atleast. So if you wish to have one item before other, you can hold back your order ticket and give at the counter at appropriate time.

Apart from this, the pre packed items of Bikaner brand are available inside and are worth to be checked out, like Namkeen, Rusks...

As expected from Bikanervala, the taste and quality of food were excellent and consistent with the brand’s high standards. But I’m writing this review specifically to appreciate one of the staff members who truly stood out.

There’s a female employee (I don’t know her name, but she is short in height and wears a tilak) who works as a waitress. She was extremely professional, caring, and attentive throughout our visit. What truly touched me was how humble and polite she was while interacting with my nephew. It’s rare to find such genuinely warm and dedicated employees these days.
