Hotel Silver Palace — Hotel in Haldwani

An excellent hotel. Don't go by the 2 stars. Nakul - the owner personally looks after the hotel. A whatsapp connection is established with him upon check in, which caters to your every need. He went to the trouble of sending me pics of his wooden bed bases as I have a back problem, answered all questions to my satisfaction and didn't even ask for a deposit up till a few days of my arrival. With uninterrupted electricity, great high pressure hot showers and unbeatable service, this place really stands out. Both the managers are polite and enterain any reasonable request. The room service staff are well behaved and the high speed internet connection gives the hotel all the creature comforts one could want, from their home away from home. I was given a international socket convertor upon arrival and allowed to msg my wife from the managers phone. Because I have a back problem, my matress was moved a number of times without even a 'Why?'from the management. It's centrally located and I even got a diwali sweet dish from them. Nakul helps you to negotiate the best rates for your laundry and looks after you, as if you were a guest in his home. Having stayed at most of the rooms and for a week now, I can safely say that his patience, resilience and manner for dealing with issues makes you feel like you're being looked after in a quiet, safe and unassuming way...

my experience was rather underwhelming, particularly when it came to the food. I had high hopes for a satisfying meal, but the reality fell short of my expectations.

One of the main reasons for my disappointment was the incorrect order. I had ordered butter chicken, a popular and flavorful dish. However, to my dismay, I received something completely different that not only failed to resemble butter chicken but also lacked taste. This mix-up was quite frustrating, as I was eagerly anticipating a delicious meal.

Although I cannot speak for the hotel's overall amenities and services, the disappointing food experience did impact my overall perception of the establishment. While the hotel may have other redeeming qualities, it is essential for them to address the quality and accuracy of their food offerings to ensure guest satisfaction.

Overall, based on my experience, I would rate this hotel three stars. The subpar food, coupled with the incorrect order, diminished what could have been a more enjoyable stay. I had a great experience at hotel silver palace, Haldwani during my stay there in november 2019.I think its a comparatively new property , and is well maintained. ||It's well located , just a ten minutes walk from the bus stand, at Sindhi chowraha. The check in experience was smooth and in a few minutes i was in my room. The room and the toilet are neat and clean. Fresh towel soap and even a chappal are provided. ||Food is excellent, whatever i have ordered, rotis, rice, dal, jeera aalu, tea, coffee were all very tasty. Aloo parathas are good for breakfast, but more than one will be too heavy!||The staff is very polite and service oriented. I would not think of another hotel whenever i am at Haldwani. Absolutely ...
