Banjara — Restaurant in Haryana

I visited Goldfinch Hotel in Faridabad recently and was left quite underwhelmed. To start with, they don’t accept Swiggy Dineout payments—something I wasn’t informed about beforehand, even though they’re listed on the app. When I asked the staff about it, the responses were unclear and unhelpful.

During our meal, we were constantly bitten by mosquitoes, which made dining extremely uncomfortable. For a hotel of this level, I expected far better in terms of cleanliness and guest comfort.

What made things worse was the manager’s unprofessional behavior. Instead of listening and responding to our concerns with courtesy, he seemed disinterested and indifferent.

Everything was good barring the behaviour of cash counter people. I wanted to pay through Zomato but they were insistent of paying directly. I was getting 25% discount on Zomato and they were giving me 15%, then why should I not pay through Zomato. You should not insist your customers how to pay.

Anyway, our service guy Neeraj was amazingly helpful and courteous. We will visit Banjara next time...

Overall good experience. The service is good but it may be improved with respect to star rating of the hotel. The taste of the foods are good except mutton. The mutton recipe should be reviewed by the restaurant as the taste and texture of the gravy is not at per. The environment of the dining was good enough.
