My date with this cute Sweets , Restaurant n Bar dates back to the time it came into existence. First as a university student,then as a working person who daily frequented that place either for routine coffee or a quick grub

Their sweets compete with the best as far as whole Himachal and even Haryana and Punjab ,including Chandigarh are the bench mark .Go to place for all Diwali n other festivities ,wedding functions ,office tete a tete s or other gatherings organised in Chotta Shimla area as far as kasumpati till Bemloi n far off for sweets and other food takeaways Birthday cakes especially the cheesecakes ones and butter scotch remain favourites but their meethais literally take the Cake 🍰 They serve with a smile ..Prem at the front counter was a pleasure to interact with So is Mr Rana ,the high profile but most down to earth and humble industrialist I have come across,no wonder his chain of establishments are one of a kind

In short ,if You Happen to visit Chotta Shimla and Secretariat and do not have some coffee ,a yum piece of pineapple pastry ,and haven't got a box of Heavenly Cham-Cham .or melt in the mouth Milk cake or Rasmalai packed for home ,u have not arrived at Gourmet conisseur e's Finesse as yet

A place in existence for over 30 years and offering multiple options when it comes to sweets, confectionery items and North Indian cuisine. Today again I bought sweets from them and noone at home actually liked any of the 3 things that i bought. There quality is pathetically sad and too bad. Sweets are nothing but too much sugar in one or the other shape and size. The staff on the sweet counters are lazy and non-responsive. On my last visit, i specifically asked the lady at the counter if cards are accepted and after she said yes, i asked her to pack a few sweets. Post packing she said that the card machine is not working, wherein i could see another customer paying via card on the next counter. It was irritating to explain such simple fact to them. Arrogance was in the air as if they simply didn't care. Coming from Delhi, outlets not accepting card payments or lying to the client, eventually lose their customer base. For food or drinks, i personally prefer Natraj Bar and Restaurant next door, which is managed by a very humble and customer centric owner. A good place one can call when it comes to an overall options Sweets are available One can take meals in their restaurant and also they have bar for drinks as well Yes parking is an issue of you are willing to take sweets for the ongoing festive seasons but right close to the shop one can avail the facility of paid parking of MC shimla and from there it's just 20 steps walking till the shop

Ambience is very nice along with the food and sweets are also very delicious, the preparation is hygienic. One can also order the cakes 🎂 in advance that too at very reasonable prices

One of the very oldest running sweets and restaurant shop in Shimla Also one can book hotels too as they have their hotel which comes with ample parking space and good spacious rooms

My personal fav. Few sweets are kaju burfi, gujiyaa, and many more I would surely recommend Ashiana sweets to all atleast one should try once Also they have their branches in Sanjauli also in Panthaghati which is surely an ease to the people living in shimla in different locations geographically.
